What brought me here today was I was watching "Remake our Life- Let's Time-Travel to 10 years ago and reenjoy creative and sweet youthful days." and on Episode 3, the MC and one of his dormmates went to a karaoke bar and she just busts out singing this song! I think Gallop got really lucky with the first minute and a half of Sobakasu because it fits so well with Kenshin. While the song is about a breakup with a girl narrator, the feelings of loss and moving on, at least before Judy starts talking about her stuffed animals later in the song, are really cool. Plus, whoever translated the lyrics to English deserved a raise, for once I understand Japanese lyrics and the context in English, plus the translation is just very poetic. Singer in English is a little too nasal but tbh so were Judy and Mary.

dwarz1991 Trust & Betrayal is 100% canon. It's an adaptation of the flashback Kenshin tells everyone after Kaoru is kidnapped in the manga. It's the SECOND OVA, Reflection, that is horrendously non-canon.
