Totally agree. I have two FXC24. One tuned and not the other (except weights in front wheels). A pleasure to crawl with.
Brass weights in front wheels are absolutely required. This rig doesn't really need anything else to give a pleasant drive.
I even kept the shocks free from oil. The required O-rings create friction that restrains the flex movement of the axles. Better without (to my eyes).
And i love to see the cab wobbling. Sssso scale ! 😇👍

Yeah I'd definitely like to add some low down weight. I much prefer oil filled shocks tbh, so will be doing these too. I prefer the smoother movement vs just friction shocks. 👍
I think this will look really cool with some big chunky tyres and some weathering. 👍

just ordered one from modelsport and with a deans plug I'm going to try the little lion battery's you get with the ftx cars and see how it goes
