You guys are right, we need boxing back the best fighting the best. Champion against mandatory, Champion vs Champion, unification with the champs from all the organizations etc... boxing can be awesome again and make lots of money way more than they're making. But they don't think out of the box. 😅

I challenge anyone to a debate as to why the pay of a fighter should come second to what fans want to watch in terms of match making?
UFC has a model built off of taking advantage of the undercard fighters and occasionally paying the headliner. Boxing has been paying headliners millions of dollars since the 1800s, so it’ll be hard to tell boxers put the FANs opinions before your health and pockets.
what's your point ? they get paid based on the sales they generate unless they are trapped in a bad contract
@@user-vr3sq1kq6i not at all most fights happen in ball rooms and convention centers with less than 1000 people in the room. Only a select few do PPV and arenas. So if you actually knew most boxers get paid by the promo team that’s building their fighter up not these fans who barely buy ppv anyway

And in my opinion the promoters won this already cause the only great fight in this card is Tszyu vs Ortiz. Other than that the promoters got paid buku money to make largely ordinary fights. The bar is so low (thanks to the same promoters) that these seem like great fights.
