    Median household income is $78,000, and median home price is $420,000... either property taxes and interest rates are extremely low in Mooresville, or people are living WAY beyond their means..

    • @CharlotteLivingLifestyle
      @CharlotteLivingLifestyle  Před rokem

      Thank for you comment Justin. The town of Mooresville is fairly large and consists of several different areas. There are two primary ZIP Codes in Mooresville. 28115 which is east of I 77 and 28117 which is west of I 77 and borders Lake Norman. The median home price is skewed by the waterfront homes on Lake Norman. Some of these homes can reach prices as high as $8 million in price. (It is possible to get a waterfront in the $700’s.) We hope this helps you understand why the numbers are the way they are.

    I've been looking at homes in the Charlotte/Lake Norman area; and I see very few with fireplaces. Why is this?

    • @CharlotteLivingLifestyle
      @CharlotteLivingLifestyle  Před rokem

      Hey Larry
      Thanks for the comment. Most of the newer construction homes depending on price point offer a gas fireplace option. Some of the gas fireplace options give off some good heat. If you are looking for a real wood 🪵 burning 🔥 fireplace I would think there are less of these because NC only has about 3 months a year with cold weather. Maybe the builders were thinking of cost compared to amount of use time. Are you looking for homes with wood burning fireplaces?

    • @cltwulf
      @cltwulf Před rokem

      @@CharlotteLivingLifestyle Thanks for the reply; I am a native Georgian (Atlanta area) who is looking to move into western North Carolina/Eastern Tennessee. I have always had (and cherished!) wood burning fireplaces. I appreciate the information I've received from your videos. Among others, I am exploring the Mooresville/Davidson area. If and when I decide on your "neck of the woods" I will contact you for more specific service. Thanks again.

      Haha 🐍 - Hi Venu
      In all seriousness there are snakes in Mooresville as there are in most places. I have lived in this area for 20 years and have only seen 2 snakes. It’s very rare you will ever see a snake where there are people unless you live out in the county. I hope this helps answer you question.

    • @brooklynpiplup

      Larry, Mooresville is not very diverse. It is also conservative. You should look in Mecklenburg county only.

    I personally dislike trying to listen to a video with music playing while the person is speaking. It is very annoying and distracting, esp when the music is louder than the person's voice.

    • @CharlotteLivingLifestyle
      @CharlotteLivingLifestyle  Před 18 dny

      We apologize for that. On one or two of the videos in the past Mooresville being one of them the editor had the music playing a bit loud behind the narration. We did get that fixed in a video is following that one. Thanks for watching.
