well, he was 10 years younger back then... he could very likely still be able to sing it with the same intensity as back then, but his vocal cords might not be in a great condition or whatever so he's chosing not to do so...

This is 100% live. Glee always produce the music in a studio, they never sang live. But Adam is better live than in a studio production.

I honestly can’t tell hardly any difference except I think Adam’s voice has gotten lower and deeper over the years.
