That black house of CB style looks stunning on you, it's a shame it was too big! Grecian goddess vibes! I completely relate to having two sizes on my body, my boobs are pretty little but my hips and bum are larger so its trying to get things over my hips that I don't fall out of. Thank you for always being so honest and open with your hauls! We've all been on shopping trips/hauls where we just couldn't find the 'one' but you gotta stay positive and you'll find it!
Beautiful dresses....I don't think any of them were "gothic" it's a shame you only saw that because the black ones were amazing!! If the second house of CB one was taken in it would have looked stunning on you, very classic!!!

I really loved the boohoo sequin option! The fit is very good and it’s cost effective.
However the black lacy looks beautiful on you and the too big black gown with the extra fabric look beautiful!

Couldn’t help but comment - firstly you look insane in the black corset dress from house of cb and could be a back up if altered! Also Anthropologie have some really amazing pieces - including a velvet black maxi ! Finally how about a maxi 2 piece? Like a lovely pleated full length mermaid skirt or pleated skirt with just a really small piece of waist on show, still black tie but better fitting to your figure (this is what I do!) good luck!! ❤😊

The coast dress was stunning at the back but I agree that it's a little simple at the front, and the house of cb dress looked simply stunning on you! So classic and timeless 😍. What about Yasmin Devonports InTheStyle Black & Gold Halterneck dress? I wore this at the weekend for a Black Tie event and it was LUSH!!!!! it would really suit your body shape as the top of it you can tie as tight as you need.. so no gaping!! Super comfortable too!!
I really like the Boohoo dress! It is more of a summer colour, but it's still wintery with the sequins. Also Quiz do lovely maxi dresses at the moment as they've just released their Christmas collection and maybe Oh Polly? Xx

The green coast and second house of cb 😍 but some cultures people also do not wear black or red to weddings so I’d go for the green coast dress.

I think a positive takeaway is that you should go in the direction of sequins! I loved the satin ones but you really seemed to be happier in the sequin ones! Also since it’s winter a long sleeve dress would look beautiful - excited to see what Club London has to offer..those dresses are amazing!

12:50 oh it looks lovely on you, i get more wedding guest vibe from this one, the others where more more party dress rather than a wedding so far. The first one had just the most stunning back. Last dress was also a great wedding color dress and would probably had chosen that for a winter wedding.

You always look so lovely and I feel your struggle!! Those sequin/double lined dresses are usually pretty expensive to alter, and they’ll scratch up your skin by the end of the night - just some things to keep in mind :) Maybe Windsor if you’re in a pinch? I find their styles fit curvier and they’re pretty affordable, though the quality can be iffy

I loved all the dresses with the exception of the baby blue dress with sleeves only because the style gave matronly vibes like something the mother of the bride might wear. To bad you couldn’t get the fit right for you, I have the same issue with dresses. But all looked lovely on you if you decided to just get them altered
Out of them all the mint green for the wedding , I probably would stay away from black, you so so suit bright colours and the dark red with the feathers is ideal for the wedding if you could get it long and I feel and agree with you that they lack detail a wee bit , if you have the time keep trying .
So I actually love the first green one on you I think it looked stunning on, very glam however agree way too long! The first CB dress also very flattering on you but again obvs too big. The last icy blue was so so flattering on you but I was getting bridesmaids vibe like you said also quite mature. Good luck finding the right dress xx.

I went into quiz today to get a dress I saw online they didn’t have it in store,it was the black sequin mess backless fishtail maxi dress £89.99,came home and it was out of stock online,I then saw it on freemans website on sale for 27.50 in my size,needless to say I bought it and with free delivery,you might find something on there it’s worth a look

Really strange you thought that black House of CB lace bodice dress and black satin dresses were “goth”. As a former goth I can tell you they weren’t even remotely “gothic”. In addition - what’s wrong with a fabulous gothic look with a red lip for a night? It would look fabulous. It breaks my heart that the average Brit is soooooo conservative and sees anything even remotely avant garde as “garish”. They both looked beautiful on you - in particular the black satin one. The teal/mint sparkly one was very out of fashion in comparison and “16 year old at a prom” as was the last grey one. It looks like a Mother of the Bride dress. Please don’t be afraid to literally march to the beat of your own drummer rather than this boring British conservatism.
