I have a friend who get flowers delivered to her weekly by her boyfriend,She gets luxurious presents and as much as I'm happy for her I always tell myself aiii Kenya gani a man can do that ......now I'm realizing it's me projecting on her coz I've placed my standards so low that no man has ever gotten me a rose and seeing her get weekly flowers is a trigger coz she placed her standards super high this was a wake up call .And I'm realizing deep down I wish men treated me the same way they treat her .

I'd also like to add that men also want us to understand when they can't deliver what we really want.. give him grace. and 2 apart from doing so much /being busy bodies it's good to learn what he really wants too. There's magic in mutual understanding and recognizing each other's side of the story. So maybe the best thing you can do for your other half or relationship is understanding that they won't always deliver and being Ok with it

Soul sisters for real!!!🥰🥰 I'm glad I speak to my partner about what I want without feeling the need to compromise to keep him because he wants me to feel loved and heard 🥰 Ladies, it doesn't matter how small your need is, make it known that it's important to you. 👌👌Also love yourself enough to receive love. I thought I was the only who follows my husband without any money😂😂😂 every time we’re going together, I’m not worried about carrying my purse or a card. I just know he’ll pay. Isn’t that how it’s supposed to be?

I get what Murugi is saying about bare minimums. I feel like the why is what we should not compromise on but the how we can. For example, Kabi buying Milly a range rover, the basis of that is Kabi appreciating Milly. So you should not compromise on wanting to be loved and appreciated but it can be in other forms that mean the most to both of you and that's fine. For example when Kabi and Milly first started their CZcams channel, they used to do videos of 10 things I love about my wife/husband and that was the form that the love and appreciation took at the time, now it's the gifts and that's also okay, because that's where they are in life right now. I'm saying that you should never accept the limitation on what you want but you can understand that how you want it may be limited because of kawaida life stuff - finances, family priorities, health complications etc. Sometimes we don't realize that different is not wrong or less than, it's just different. We hear at time men being told, Other men are buying houses and cars for their women, you what are you doing? And at times your way of showing appreciation is ignored because it is not as grand as men out here. And ofcourse this is not an excuse for men to do the least in a relationship but I believe the things you are talking about that women want will be excecuted differently depending on the people in the relationship - depending on how both of you give and receive love. Loved this episode and I'm definitely taking notes. Not only for a relationship but also things that other women in my life want.

In an ideal world, no man would want to work either. I think no one likes to work, man or woman. We do it as a means of survival. In my humble opinion, it feels presumptuous that men love to work, they just have been conditioned to do it and do not feel comfortable admitting they would prefer "a soft life" as well
