That drop in Trilogy I literally had my own little mosh pit. This Mix hits so fucking hard and everything has such high fidelity it’s refreshing to hear these older songs in this high a quality.
Holy shit, this is my first time seeing this...I'm trying to listen while I do other stuff and I keep finding myself staring at the screen in disbelief! 🤘Epic!!
Little side note - this quenches my cravings for that kinda underoath feel, but comes in a package with so much more I didn’t know I needed until I was in receipt of its beauty
I've been wanting to upload my recording of this for ages but felt it wasn't my place to upload. Hopefully the band uploads a full HD version of this!!
If Garrett can still sing like that after all these years and still sound so close to studio version, it just goes to show artists like Chad Grey of Mudvayne and Sonny Moore of From First to Last were just improperly trained
Pretty much every popular harsh vocalist of the past absolutely destroyed their voices. All of them were just trying to scream or growl as hard and loud as possible while paying no mind to the damage it was doing to their voices. All the popular harsh vocalists of today learned from their mistakes.
Same with corey taylor, chino moreno. Technique wasn’t a thing when it came to screaming, only a handful of vocalists knew what they were doing back then. Like corpsegrinder, dude’s a dad now and can still growl like a mf lol
I think it's honestly, a grounding sort of essence, to the earth. He can probably feel the vibrations of all the other instruments better too, I mean, listen to how ON TIME he is this whole 55 minutes. Absolutely astounding. I think it's just personally something that helps him hone in on his zone.
he had some health problems that rendered him unable to use his legs for a long time. He had to use a wheelchair and during that time he felt like something as mundane as being able to walk was taken for granted. He recovered and wanted to feel the ground.
They need to release this as a live album. No joke I’ve watched this probably 50 times.. soooo good.
Agreed. I second this opinion.
Same brother, gonna be real awkward if my future wife wants to watch soaps but I’ve hacked the tv to just play this instead 😬

The vocal harmony in the second chorus of Trilogy gives me some serious goosebumps. Hope they build on that on subsequent releases.

This band is sooo unique, i dont have words, wanna some day see them live
I paid to see another band just because they were opening. It's worth the ticket man I promise, they are so raw

They are opening for northlane in North American tour in a few months
Whoever did this mix deserves a raise

I hope you realize that is hybrid mix like studio/live
@@yaroslavbondarenko1127 I’m aware of how a post-production mix goes
It was Chris Gazel
It’s wild how good this performance is. Just wow.
I'd love to hear them perform a concert with an orchestra in full, that would be incredible
Omg that would be insanely good!

Yeah can I get 2 of those please 🤣😎
Fuck. This is so good.
New to Silent Planet and just curious about this; why did Garrett never use any shoes/sandals everytime he’s on stage?
