- Day 1 of going alone into The Himalayas as we venture off higher into the mountains on the Langtang trail. From here on in no cars go and it's a few days hike up to 4000 meters. Walking by the river we soon encounter a family living in part in brick housing but also still in the traditional Nepali tent. The locals are kind enough to let me enjoy some of their fresh food and raksi desi daru, the local alcoholic drink of choice. Tamu guru helps me with the ceremony where I pray for blessings on my mountain journey.
HIMALAYA LANGTANG TREKKING SERIES
Dangerous bus journey on Nepal roads up to Langtang National Park - • Surviving the Himalaya...
They welcomed a total stranger into their home and fed him breakfast. Like he's one of their own. What a great people, making tourists feel so welcomed. What a great place to visit!
So much for the ceremony great lady humble great
Finally the wait is over ❤🎉 LOVE FROM NEPAL🇳🇵
So lovely to see you pedro . Please post more blogs . I love the fact you discovered Desi Daru in the Himalayas!!! Lord shiva will be happy 😅❤🌹😍
It's really sad not to see people appreciating Thamu, The local female who treated him with food, dessert and Raksi (alcohol) in a good manner. The hospitality she provide was super duper.
Hope you've a great journey.
It's been a while since I've seen you without the shorts and t shirt Pedro 😂. This looks epic 👌
Riders and wearing the same pants daily 🤷♂️ you mean there's another way? Wardrobe evolution will be big in these episodes, especially when I start to fight the sun
@@MadlyRoveryou're right there 🙂 It's good to see you doing a hike here looking forward to this 👌. Hope you are well man
Nepal is a great place for adventure and thrill and most importantly the people are very hospitable and kind. Enjoyed the vlog and waiting for next one.
You got great sense of humor. Hope you having great time out there . Lovely vlog ❤
What is desi daru???
Call it a local raksi 🥺
lol exactly! Nepal doesnt belong to Desi. Desi” is a term most commonly used to describe a person of Indian, Pakistani or Bangladeshi origin.
Next time please add a disclaimer like "Attention! Way too cute baby goat in this video!"
What lovely people there! 🤗
Goated little 🐐
Cute goat at the end
SUCH A BLESSING MOMENT .THEY ARE TREAEING THE STRANGER AS THEIR RELATIVES . THT WAS AWESOME .THANKS FOR VISITING NEPAL . LOVE FROM NEPAL

Bro I am super excited to see you in Mountains and please try to upload the vlogs ASAP !! Salute from INDIA 🇮🇳
Speak brother speak any language u want
Speak.
Speak.
Nepali indian
Bihari 😄.
Brother why you used the word 'desi daru' on the title even though it doesn't have literally any connection with that. That is the pure authentic Nepali local beer. Please give the real credit to the locals and their brand and promote the actual name. Cheers! 😊🍻 And love from the Mini Africa of Nepal ❤️
Exactly. Totally Agreed.
He does mention desi daru 28:17 and it's his blog so I don't know what your problem is. It's his adventure and I'm tired of people like you who keep judging others !!!! I'd like to see you go on a hike to Himalaya without any luxury and he discovered desi daru in a remote area ..... So what ??????
@@parvathipal2920he might have traveled India doesn't mean everything is Desi while visiting Nepal. You better correct yourself as well
@@parvathipal2920who this complaining desi is??
I typed throgh my phone doesn't mean i can give anyone any name 👊👊
@@axlonawale5072 bt bro even if you are offended I would like to correct your perception here, if you have good nepali vocabulary you will understand it, the literal meaning of "Deshi" is "deshwasi or natives".... I think he might have felt difficult to pronounce the local name of liquor and he doesn't want to hurt feelings of Nepalese people.... so bro take a chill pill.....
Yesto comment gare paxi tw he won't upload the videos..... we Nepalese are too sweet so let's not bother over small things ❤
Pedro .. keep going
The mountain people of Nepal are humble, kind, and innocent. Brother, next time you pray, please remove your shoes and if possible, wash your hands and feet to connect with Mother Nature. Awesome vlog! You speak absolutely fantastic Hindi! 😅 Love from India 🇮🇳 Keep going...!

Welcome to Nepal. ❤❤ I am also from Nepal.I really like your video. I have watched all the videos. I have been waiting for your video for nine days now. I was afraid that something had happened to you. Please upload the video quickly❤❤❤❤
Hey Pedro, Hello from Colorado again, interesting being able to pin point your locations again, most of this video was at and near the Lemon Garden Homestay, Tranquil Valley, and ending on the bridge just past neighbor Bob Marley's guest house. You trekked less than 3 km from leaving Hotel Garden Inn... It's good to "Stop and smell the roses"... And it's good to be able to follow you on Google Earth, stay safe.
These episodes will be easy pickings for you mate
Pedro, now you convince me , I am back looking forward to your videos.

Hey I've just recently discovered your amazing channel and I love your videos, and interactions and attitude. I'm watching from the very beginning. I love India so much, happy to explore it with you (and Nepal too). Cheers from Poland 🇵🇱
Dziekuje brother, I actually rode through Poland a couple of years ago on my other channel www.youtube.com/@iPedroMota/videos

@@guiltytemple5937 नमस्ते ! Great to hear. We don't live very far from each other then, hope you enjoy Katowice
Nice one 💜
enjoy and take care ..
Godbless you 🙏😇
Watching from Andes. Enjoy your channel. Please, discuss your personal goals on the mountain????
Nice video,. I love how you immerse yourself with locals. Instead of using hindi terms, my recommendation is to learn some popular Nepali/local terms. some words like 'raksi' is very iconic to Nepal, and it feels like being diluted by using 'daru', which is almost never used in Nepal. 'thik chha' or 'ramro chha' is another popular nepali saying, which translates to 'achha hai'.
Heyyyyyyy rover brooo u crazy man ❤
First viewer
Happy jpurney brother best up luck my country nepal ♥️♥️🇳🇵🇳🇵
I think ur carbohydrates intake took ur stomach out more in the form of biriyanis, kebabs and all....its nice time to get that stomach in by climbing mountains mate

I subscribed to your channel when you had around 899 subscribers, and I was the 900th! ❤️ Since then, I’ve been eagerly waiting for a video like this. The way you interact with the locals is so happy and cheerful, which is why I always watch your videos!
And i think you should visit the Indian states of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, and the Northeastern states. Wishing you good luck! 🍀
Super 👌
Question: When travelling from city to city, do you rely purely on public transport? or do you ever rent vehicles?
Usually that, but I have rented our bought vehicles in the past like in Vietnam or China. Nowadays with all sorts of apps it has become easier than ever.
@@MadlyRover Awesome, can't wait to get out there myself! Keep up the great content!
Dear indians
🇮🇳
Yeh video pe bahut se Nepaliyo
Offend ho raha ki
Indian word use kiya.
Indian word use mat kar.
Desi daru
Nepali bhasa nahi hai.
Indian bhasa hai.
Etc etc.
I dont know yeh koi idiots log kyu itne offend hots hai 🙄?
So sorry 🙌 on behalf of them.
Yeh some pagalo ke karan hamari rista tutegi nahi 🇳🇵 🫶 🇮🇳
I’m from India(Assam) and planning to visit Mustang Valley this October. I hope to have an amazing experience there!
Bro u should have to pay some to the family where u prayed❤
Bro we Indians love nepali. ❤️
Who told you this rubbish. Yeah it might be some exception with some people cuz indian go to nepal and nepali come to India for business that's why some people hates them but it happens both side. Overall there is nothing like hatered between us.
There is reason why movement between both coutry is so easy.
We don't feel that we're going to another country when we go to nepal. It feels like we're just going to another state of india.
Movement is this much easy.
And wtf did you said about darjling.
Nepali isn't only a nationality, it's a community. There is so much nepalis in India too and they're indian. (Just like bengali in west bengal. Punjabi in punjab. Tamils in tamil nadu. They don't become bangladeshi or pakistani or srilankan.)
Nepali is one of official language of India. Also there is a army regiment called gorkha army in Indian army.
That's why India blockade the border in the time of great earthquake in Nepal 🇳🇵
Hello brother I'm ur new army 😮
