Exploring the Harsh Nepal Mountain Village Life

Day 2 and almost 10 hours of climbing the Langtang Valley trail and I stumble on the Yak ranch of Mr. Yak Man Lama. There this kind Nepali local who lives at 3000 meters offers me so yak milk and tells me all about life in the mountains. Later the lodge managers tells me all about the dangers of living in the Nepal mountains due to earthquakes and avalanches. Its devastating and humbling consequences I witnessed in a nearby abandoned building. The good man is kind enough to share some meat in the evening which usually is only for locals and sherpas.

The national language of Nepal is Nepali. In the Terai region of Nepal, there are some people who speak Hindi and English. But in the mountainous part of Nepal, only few people can speak English, so they may not know what you say in English and you may not understand what they say because the people there can only speak normal English like:- hello, hi, nice,ok,bye,good,what is your name, father name , such restaurants use common English words and may your trip to Nepal be a happy one🎉❤❤.
