- Howdy and welcome back! This is our first dive back home in Texas and so we wanted to check some apartment complexes since we didn't get to on the road. Not much luck there but we did find a nice grab bag from a store below five dollars ;) It was filled with lots of great items - they certainly didn't need to go to the landfill and will be great for our next yard sale.

It never feels boring to watch, even at the same old dumpsters.💝
Be really careful with furniture. I used to have a beautiful carved Italian cherry wood bedroom suite that became extremely infested with cockroaches! Moved into a 'really' nice apartment that turned out to be horribly infested. Ruined everything and had to put out at the dumpster. They are literally covered with eggs and can get into just about any crack and crevice. If something looks like it's covered in coffee grounds, that could be them. Very distinct smell.
Those dishwasher inserts are good for under the bed storage❤🤗

Also good if you have a large enough cabinet or closet!

That lip balm is fine to use. Never make major decisions if you're feeling out of sorts. We wouldn't care if you went to just one dumpster over and over, we all love you guys. ☺
Fyi, the hay would be good for insulating your garden/plants
Welcome home! Everyone should own a jean jacket. American tradition. Drives me nuts in NYS to see soooo many recyclable bottles and cans ignored. Collected close to $40. this year, mostly during daily walks. Paid for gas to mow a neighbor's lawn and cat food for struggling neighbors.
The doll was from the movie; Frozen. No matter what you two find, it's fun to watch what you discover. More than anything your laughter and genuineness is wonderful to see. My birthday has been complete watching you today!
I know you don't always find bags of things to keep but when you do, bring them back home to share with us like you did in this video. The reveal party that you and Alex had was fun. The reveal party of the Halloween costumes you had a few days ago was fun too!

I would put a rope through the disco ball cup and make a knot under the lid. Then hang from the porch, tree, etc for a cool suncatcher type decoration. I love upcycling things.

I just wanted to say from Maine that free pantries don't work here because of our freezing cold winter weather spoiling soup and spaghetti cans and all drinks.

We experience highs of 80s and 90s in the spring and fall and temperatures of 100 or more throughout most of the summer here in Albuquerque. We dislike taking when the temperature is above 80.

I love the college dumpster dives and the retail store dumpster videos. Not a real fan of the regular apartment dumpster dives. I guess because I have lived in apartments and know how they can be dirty and smell and the nasty bugs and flys that enjoy it. Thanks I too loved the adventure of the dumpsters on the road, that was so much fun. Thanks again.

To fix doll hair comb conditioner thru it. Works wonders. Also I would think apartment's have better items on move out days meaning last/first day of month.

Those haybales are the perfect garden mulch id grab those strawbales are great for growing everything
I've heard that hay tends to mold when it gets wet. I don't know because I've never dealt with it. Is this true?

I love the 5 below grab bags when I Dumpster dive I got 3 of those candy canes I took off the "Garland " n used it on my front door area ! Then I added a red piece mixed in with the white n silver I wrapped my Outside Christmas 🎄 lights around its so pretty 😍
The gloves you wear doesn't stop liquid seeping to the inside of your somewhat protected hands. Depending on the their strength of plastic exam or mechanics gloves I will put on 1 to 2 pairs then my outer gloves. I get mine at Harbor Freight.
I have one of those dishwasher racks I saved from our old dishwasher, I use it to put next to my sink and put my cups and plates on...helps alot

Consider this a fun game idea since you found bingo.
Figure out a game sheet for finds say you find can goods and it is can corn thats a box on your sheet or can of green beans thats a box a shirt a pair of pants such and so forth and you have people make a copy of your master sheet.
Then you go dive. Then in one month time the ones who fill up the bingo sheet say like first 100 to show you the filled sheet say by email or another way go in to a drowing for a undisclosed gift item found in a dumpster

Those palmers lip balm are coconut oil and they are amazing I use it everyday

Why not plan to take off to a new place/city once a month? Travel for a weekend, make an ever widening circle or range to visit and dive on. You could find out when bulk pickup occurs in a neighboring city and check out the curb shopping. Try looking for different types of items; you passed up a table on this dive. Was it not saleable if the legs were reattached? Idk, just throwing out ideas. Time to get ready for Christmas. I look forward to seeing your decorations.
