  • we went down to the las vegas strip to say good bye to the Tropicana before they demolish it for a MUCH UNWANTED baseball stadium. The Oakland Athletics baseball team reached an agreement with Bally's to demolish the Tropicana, making way for two new projects: a baseball stadium on nine acres of the site, and a new resort under the Bally's name on the remaining land. The Tropicana is scheduled to close on April 2, 2024, and is expected to be demolished by the end of the year. almost none of the locals are in support of this. this place is full of history, from celebs, movies and the mob.
    thanks for watching!

replacing it with a baseball stadium.. that’s what they say, anyway. with vegas’s track record of failed projects, i wouldn’t be surprised if it just remained as an empty lot after demolition. just like what happened with Riviera, frontier, and Stardust for the longest time

Starting at the lobby at the guest check in whoever put all that white tile and everything else white . They screwed up ! It's a casino ! They started screwing up right at the front door !!! Who uses the color WHITE anywhere on the floors or the walls in a casino ? Let alone one called The Tropicana ? And they wonder why malls die ?

@@funtimeswithfefe242 Sad . Creditcards , banks, corporations and the fed ruined it . Government always has to get their fair share and then some more for the trip back home .
