Growing up in Kansas City, I've been a Chiefs fan for as long as I can remember. I never dreamed we'd be so blessed to have someone like Patrick Mahomes representing our home town with such amazing talent, grace and humility. He has done so much for our city along with Andy Reid, Travis Kelce, and the entire organization. They are a class act. Go Chiefs! Thank you Patrick!

We won the lottery with Patrick in KC. We sucked for so many years. We were so used to losing the first playoff game, if we even got to playoffs which we didn’t many years. This guy exploded in his first year playing. I did not see this coming. He continues to mature and should only get better. I love him and so grateful we got such a stellar human being. The future looks bright for the Chiefs for years to come. ❤

Magic’s last full season of NBA basketball was in 1991. Patrick Mahomes was born in 1995, so he would’ve grown up with guys like LeBron, Carmelo, KG, etc. Highly doubt he grew up idolizing or even watching Magic.

U know, the one where the Chiefs & refs joined cheating forces, & suddenly Mahomes was given the first free, do-over 3rd down in the 103 yrs of the NFL!! Funny how SOOO many games that have controversy, involve the Chiefs...& the controversy/call/penalties...ALWAYS favors them.
