hi there,i own passat B8 2.0 automatic,simple car but drives so smooth and soft,never let me down from over 2 years now.
The S on the gear stick is for "semi auto" not for sport mode you can move the stick to the right to use semi auto shifting
Nope, S is for Sport mode. Pull the stick down from D and you are in a sport mode. + and - (move the stick to the right) is for semi auto shifting.
Can someone be kind enough to explain to me why in the new T-Cross the D symbol of the automatic gearbox no longer displays the numbers in the cockpit? Is this the case or is it a bug

Yes it can be. I guess he forgot to inform about that or didn’t know about that. I think tthat’s a great feature in a small car like the T-Cross 😊
Much better looking T Cross compared to previous one on the outside, but the only thing that really annoys me about the VW group as a whole compared to other manufacturers, specially in this day and age, their build quality in comparison has become totally rubbish, charging in most cases more money than rivals and still using cheap plastic materials, interiors i feel have become really dated, dull and boring, for the price of VW group vehicle in general, i feel other manufacturers are giving much more better value for money in terms of build quality, modern design (interior and exterior) and technology as standard…
What other car in this price segment and similar size would you also consider if you were buying a car in this segment?
Hard to say …. There are a few options but depend on many factors …
@@SDADanCars For a young couple with no kids (for now). A car for a city drive but still a able to do a several 1000 km long roadtrips per year in relative comfort.
Main goals, a pratical easy to drive and park car with a refined ride and overall nice cabin. Comforable and relatively economical. The car should not be very long as we live in a capital city.
Currently driving a Peugeot 208 and looking for an upgrade.
Look at the skoda kamiq or seat arona. Kamiq suprised me on + very much.
Rear led lights look really bad tbh
