- Journey back to 2010 when ESPN FC was in South Africa, where Shaka Hislop and other FC pundits took on a penalty shootout challenge. With Hislop in net, he was tasked with facing penalties from Steve McManaman (former Liverpool, Real Madrid, Man City and England midfielder), Ruud Gullit (former Milan, Chelsea and Netherlands midfielder), Roberto Martinez (former Everton, Spain and current Belgium manager), Alexi Lalas (former LA Galaxy and USMNT defender) and John Harkes (former Sheffield Wednesday, Derby County and Major League Soccer midfielder).

“My legs are really, really white.”
What a dumb comment this was.
Now I know where Simone Zaza got his overzealous running penalty idea from
Alexis Lalas feels like a big time player around the bigger time player in the World
Gullit is pure class
Martinez lowkey looks like Landon Donavon 2010
Look at the mentality of the English player. 50,000 in the stand, millions at home watching, weight of the nation on your back. Is there any wonder why they are bad at penalties. But lowkey Shaka guessed the right way on 3 of the 5 penalties. In his prime he might have gotten to them. McManaman actually put it wide because Shaka went the right way. He saw him going that direction and tried to put it a little further in the corner mid stroke. Harkes does the same thing on the last penalty but gets lucky as it goes in off the post.
Shaka is terrible at saving penalties 😂😂😂😂
And he criticize other pro players
@@tobilawal7986 now not before
Shaka has always been terrible Haha
Awful
Well hes retired and wasn't trying so yeah go be stupid somewhere else haha
God I love Shaka :D

Why is Alexi Lalas there sharing a pitch with Gullit. ewwww
Alexi lalas?, isn that the guy from RVP's "what I wore" vid?
This definitely needs more views
Ruud Gullit here looks a bit like Cafu
I never watched Shaka play but I am a fan now
How long ago was this? Roberto Martinez hasn't had hair in 10 years
I'm assuming it was filmed around the time of the 2010 World Cup , going by the studio conversation at the end.
And he’ll be criticizing like he has an idea
Iboi Benjamin fr one dead keeper
Because you have to have been an elite player to criticize.
@@advenco344 I don't think these people realize that most soccer players aren't these geniuses of their sport those they are usually people who started really really young practiced 10x harder than most of their mates and watched football whenever they could very few are these tactical masterminds that understand the ins and outs of the game
another low iq comment
Shaka Hislop for West Ham!
Why is Lalas here??? 🤣
LOL this was a good one!
UJ! APB. Great times.
What Stadium holds over 30k behind the goal?
and that’s why Mcmanaman bottled a penalty in ‘96 when he was asked 🤣
Old footage?
THIS IS AT MY SCHOOL! UJ Johannesburg!!! When was this?
2010
Who is here waiting for espn fc comment on United's defeat to Watford?
This was great fun.
Why does it feel so old
Why is Lala's even there, nowhere near the same level
Hislop keeps it real and honest, I have nothing to offer
Da woman with the corazon at the end
Shaka... As a Hammer I beg you... please come back and save us from Roberto. I'm starting a gofundme to cover your airfare to get you back in between the sticks.
Karius is available soon
To think you’re saying this after watching Shaka poor display😳
@@obrianthinline8514 needs must.
Shaka😂😂❤👌
Lalas why are you here -.-
I wud have probably done better than Hislop...he just watched the ball fly left and right
Martin Tyler should have taken one
What’s a lalas?
Shaka sounded Welsh.
The British thing never change
Hislop sounds like a West Indian Tom Jones
SHAKA GOAT! 🐐
Was this video done in 2010??
Yes. World Cup in South Africa.
Ruud gullit a different level to the rest. The only actually icon there
McManaman as well
539 murders in trini Hislop! Save us! Big up Jack Warner though....
TakeBusFace “Big up Jack Warner”? Boy have you no shame?
And Shaka wants to talk about Messi ..ha ha ..
American has a good name
Alexi lalas is the worst
Why
Steve who?
brill, funny
Lalas pretending he's a footballer next to actual players, and by far the better American player, Harkes.
Lalas is very funny, Shaka too😂
How Shaka was a footballer I will never know
i saw shaka play tons in the early 2000s on fox soccer channel...dude was an excellent keeper!
He even conceced goal from American Footballer 😂😂
I would rather have Kahn or Schmeichel ;)
Petr Cech, Neuer , Buffon and Casillas are the best in saving penalty kick.....
@@azreenklose7976 Van Der Sar also.
Toldo, romero, seaman all very good at penalty saving
A wooden chair would have done better than Shaka!
Yep Mcmanaman was the only one miss... Englishmen can't take penalties
Aah is this the very same guy criticising good players
Same as any other pundit?
You don't have to be a player to critique or analyze the game jesus christ
low iq comment
U don't have to be good but decent and he's neither of the 2
@@Bless_Mabunda you're judging a retired athlete doing a TV stunt like he's a current player. That's just stupid.
My grandma is better than shaka fr
Shaka hislop , a mediocre player being a critique of the legends of the game . I actually needed to see this video to realize i was getting mad at shaka's reasoning in the espn show for no reason . Just a guy trying to come into the limelight by criticizing those who deserve to be in one .
He's getting paid to do it
you've drawn a conclusion, strictly from this video? He didn't put much effort but I noticed that he guessed the right diection a good bit of times.
Shaka is a bronze keeper :/
Shaka talks about other players like he was a world class player when he played he wasn't even known espn pundits are shite bt sport all the way
