always get "psql: error: connection to server on socket "/var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.5432" failed: No such file or directory, Is the server running locally and accepting connections on that socket?" after running the sudo psql

Huge thanks dude, what it wasn't clear for me was why did you use terminal for setting the pasword rather than just setting it directly in the pgadmin GUI, btw how can I change the user from postgresql to admin for example

I don’t think you can change the username (e.i postgres) but you can add new user with same permissions
