I got to say thank you for making a thorough video. I really appreciate showing a full assembly and alignment of a desk.
My pleasure!
I really enjoyed your video. I just purchased the E7 Plus. I wish I would have seen your video before purchase to use your code. I still have to assemble and am a little worried as I am not very handy with building stuff. I feel more confident having watched you build the frame. Great job.
Oh, you will do fine! It's not that hard. And you will get the sense of achievement which I enjoyed!
Great video! Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video.
And thank you for watching :)
No No No thank you! My girlfriend and I each just each purchased the Flexispot E7 Plus (frame only) using your product code. Thanks for the $50 off! @@JosephKim
After having the Flexispot E7 plus for a bit now, How would you say it performs on carpet?@@JosephKim
Not sure as I am not using on a carpet. But I've been loving it!
Great video! Thanks for the detailed walk through! I am concerned about how the electronics will hold up over the years, though I guess time will tell.
Acacia is a relatively soft wood. Have you seen dings or scratches with how you finished it?
I am extremely careful on my desk as I know the wood and the finish is not the most robust material. It makes handling products on my desk a bit of challenge, but I love the look.
I do use a desk mat normally to protect it from day to day wear and I have not had much dings or scratches. If I drop a phone or a camera I'm sure it will damage it 😂
Great video! Wantednto ask if you have noticed any sort of sag/lean towards the back afterbhaving everything mounted.
Not at all!
Thanks for the video! How big was the drill bit used for the pilot holes?
I forget the exact size! But you should always look at the stem of the screw, not the threads. I often go one size smaller just in case.
Great video! Does the front support beam come into contact with your chair of legs?
Not at all. I'm not 100% sure which is the part you are referring as the support beam of the frame, but no portion of the desk comes in contact of the chair.
Hi! Thanks so much for sharing this. Does this also have a lot of shake from front to back when the desk is at standing height?
It has the least amount of front to back shake for all desks I've tried.
@@JosephKim I appreciate your response!
What was your favorite two leg desk for front to back stability?
IMovR's Lander was quite solid. But not as solid as 4 leg.
140 oooooooOOO they are up to 250 by me, i havent decided between birch or not yet though.
Birch is good too!
Hey, buddy!
I found you about the keyboard video, I have exactly the same needs as you for a keyboard, mechanics, brown switches, full block of numbers, multimedia.
What kind of keyboard do you end up using?
I've been using SteelSeries Apex 7 for a long time it's great, but my fingers started getting sore from it because it's too tight on the blue switches. So I'm looking for a solution and I've settled on the G915, but I realize that I don't need the extra macro keys and will get in the way.
Or Keychron K5 SE, I see you are still using it, right?
I had Keychron K5 before and upgraded to K5 pro and have been loving it!
@@JosephKim What switches you prefer, stay with brown?
@@nerual_dreming yep! I tried both red and blue, but brown seems to meet my taste.
@@JosephKim Razer DeathStalker V2 Seems interesting, perhaps you've had experience with it? I'm thinking of giving it a try.
Hi! What mount are you using to have your insta 360 webcam on?
It is mixture of things. F38 quick release+regular ball head mounted to a monitor arm. (you have to disassemble the arm head)
what pc mount are you using?
I've inherited one from iMovR. I've tried several ones over the years, but am yet to find one that is really really good.
Is it the same model as QS2 of Flexispot?
I don't think so.
