    Excellent information.
I am seeing a surgeon in a few days so will summarise all the points raised, and discuss them with the surgeon.
Very informative, very encouraging. I will start Kegel ASAP.
    Thank you.

A very good overview. I had this surgery a little over a month ago. I had a large prostate and I’m almost 70. I spent three days in the hospital so I’m an outlier. But bleeding stopped on the fifth day after surgery. I only had one minor incident with bleeding after that.
The operation totally works, big increase in flow rate. I am experiencing some incontinence with bladder spasms as my body adapts to the new plumbing. Have a pack of diapers handy for the first week or two. Good news was no sign of cancer in the tissue that was removed. I considered that a bonus of the operation.

My husband is facing this surgery and this video is wonderful in helping to educate us both on what to expect. Thank you!

I lived with those symptoms for years.....finally after two bladder stones, I bit the bullet and had the surgery (TURP).
My op was just a few days ago, and already I am better, yes I still have some bleeding and a little pain, but I am sleeping better and feeling confident about the future benefits.
If you are suffering the symptoms, do it, get the op.

My grandfather had the procedure in January of 2022. He still has incontinence but he's trying to improve.

This is sad that I have to be the first person who leaves a comment on such a great informative video clip.
