- Okie Dokie, this is small town # 3 after leaving the big city of Toronto.
Elora, Collingwood and now Parry Sound.
To be honest, I never really heard of Parry Sound.
Not because it does not deserve this recognition, but because, well...
I just wasn't the explorer most of my lifetime that I am now.
I never saw ANY of my own backyard of Ontario.
HENCE THIS AMAZING ROAD TRIP!
Parry Sound, is a quiet, small town, full of lovely scenery.
And, the best part, the dam train goes straight over-top the town!!!
Yup, super-cool to watch.

I use to go to Parry sound on the weekends living in Huntsville made it easy for a short road trip to Parry sound I loved it there very peaceful to me a place I hope some day to live retire there living Manitoba rite now not really happy here
I'm taking a nine day trip around lake huron for fourth of july. I'll be stopping in Parry Sound.
Wife and I spent a few days in Parry Sound some years ago. It is indeed a beautiful spot; certainly for those who appreciate raw Canadian countryside as we do.
Went for a sight seeing float plane ride, and what a sight it was. I wonder who counted the 30,000 islands? There are more rocks lurking just below the surface for the unwary boater.

I love parry sound, but too many of us love it and are moving there and other small towns in northern ontario in droves. Its our choice where we choose to live, but that small town feeling is rapidly disappearing. Rampant development in parry sound, wasaga beach, north bay and other northern communities....just not the same as it once was.😮

Where is that park you showed at the start?? I'm from Parry Sound lived here all my life and I have never seen that place
Actually, it was on Hwy 400 somewhere on the way to PS. I forgot where. It was long ago now with my Journey. Just off the Hwy on route...
@@OneLifeToLiveLiveit So it's on a turn off on hwy 400?? Do you no what turn off?? Or the name of the park?? Sorry only asking cause I never have seen that place but it looks like would be awesome to take my 10 year old to.
