I love the idea of an exhausted parent coming up with one of these creatures off the top of their head.
Perchta and the 3 woman will be the best friend group, especially about being truthful.
I love how the grinch is a "fictional" character. As a Greek i can say you are the only one i saw reading kalikantzaroi correct.
Don't forget cat like
Can you add the Christmas spider if you do another list? I always liked the story after I heard it from my German neighbor.
Heard you! :) czcams.com/video/A41DyNb9bqs/video.html Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
I love these types of videos. Keep up the amazing work.
I like this idea that Hans Trapp isn't involved in disciplining naughty kids directly, but rather, like the Ghosts of A Christmas Carol, his own past suffering is just so impactful that it's generally accepted he convinces the wayward to reform themselves with words of genuine concern alone. Since it seems he leave no sign, I bet it's possible for kids to imagine that those he visits would never tell -- he silently reforms children yearly, helping other kids to forgive moral grievances with their peers in time for Christmas, since they can hope for a new start to such relationships in the new year.
Thanks for the video and keep up the great work. I hope you, your family and friends all have a good holiday 🥃 Sláinte
Thank you mate! I wish you great moments for you , family and friends these holidays! Cheers!
Fascinating. Well Done. ☃️🎄

Belsnickel description sounds like the second ghost in "A Christmas Carol".

this was informative now in the future when i have kids and they realize there is no way one man in a sleigh could do all that work in one night I can say "you're right i guess it's time I told you about Santa's real helpers"
But elves are real, according to me lol

black Pete is my kinda brother
If I could be St. Nicolas’s side kick, I will be a man wearing a Cotton sweater with a shirt & tie and jade green slacks. I will teach the good kids how to dress up nicely for church, The naughty kids will get to mine for silver or emeralds for misbehaving.
It's absolutely an oversight not to mention that the Zwate Piet character comes with controversy. Zwarte Piet is Santa's black slave, who often serves the role of punishing children, while Santa rewards them. Contemporary people have tried to cast him as simply Santa's friend, but this is such a fundamental reinvention and such a dodge of the inherent racism involved that, I at least would argue that this is a blackface character we should leave in the past, explaining it for what it is to children and others whenever it comes up.
