They could have been across the street or more hidden at least, I know for a fact his eyes swept over them in that shot.
Maybe if the woman passed by on his right instead of his left I could accept he just missed them but, still!
While it seems stupid, it could be that it dissolves quickly and if he didn't spit it out almost immediately he'd have basically taken it.
Pills don't work that way, it needs to go into the stomach and even if it did in fact dissolve into his mouth, he could have spit it out later.

Noticed how his mask was still damaged when he woke up. I'm thinking they knocked him unconscious, shoved Joy into his mouth, and dragged him 2 his place of work where they hoped the Joy would still have effect on him when he woke up, which it did not affect him anymore, so they were wrong
or rather, it was efective and he went about his merry way. Sobering up back at his desk hours, or even days later.
I think its once you dumb a joy pill in your mouth. You cant reuse it. Once you sallow it when is been used by you the effects might be the opposite. Making you a downer.

Shame the game flopped in sales. It's truly an underrated masterpiece. Although there are some questionable gameplay choices and a some minor bugs. The world is still lively and full of lore. Sometimes I think on ways the game could've improved like if Joy, Crash, and Overdose, and Histoplasma actually changes the way you perceive certain objects in the world. But the story more than makes up for it.

@@draconianwarking That is 1 gripe I have with the game. The Germans had Mausers.... not Lee Enfields. However, it makes since that they wouldn't have much ammo for them. It is not German, and Germany didn't manufacture much, if any production of .303 british ammo.

Potato King I played it for about an hour so far and it’s great. I bought the game preview about a year ago so I got the full game for free, but I highly recommend it. The story and characters are very interesting.

Potato King I also have had this since the release on game preview and can say that it does have a bit of frame issues but that could be on my part using an old Xbox for it. But what it has in that sense of issues it well makes up for it and beyond with the great story telling. Wonderful game I would recommend if you’re a fan of in depth narratives that can get quite bleak at times.

1 year later, and still my favorite video game of all time. The entire team that went into the music and animation and feel of the game really couldn’t have done any better. This is an absolute masterpiece!

One of the reasons I started playing the game was because of that part of the trailer. The other was that I was curious of what the large robot was about.

Happiness is a wonderful thing, yes, but at times you need to express more then happy. Example, some body does and you go to there funeral all happy and cherry. And sadness actually helps you feel better... strangly

Remake, some gameplay changes should be in order. And I would love seeing the new gen graphics render completely different perspectives when you're under the effects of Joy, Crash, Overdose, and Histoplasma Hallucinations. In the current game, these drugs just put a filter on your screen, nothing more.

Ch0ves it was a kickstarter that lied, they said they were gonna plublish it themselfsb but then got gearbox to plublish it and double the price right before release
Rainbow Dash but everyone who was a backer on kickstarter got the game waaaay cheaper. I have the full game for 15 and I got it over a year ago now. It was just a sandbox mode back then mind you but now the final release patch is out I have the whole game. The only people paying 60 are the people who didn’t support the game until now. As for gearbox getting involved i doubt anyone’s complaining. The fact they helped speed up the process and publish the finished game is a good thing imo.

I still play it and i also enjoy coming back to this trailer to relive the excitement i had the first time i saw this, the disappointment i felt when Australia almost banned it, the excitement i felt when i first got to play it and now the disappoint i feel every time i see 5+ copies being traded in at my local game shop.
But hey, at least this game is still bloody hilarious to play when you do nothing but run around with a shovel

This is one of my top 10 games
This game had great potential, but it was sadly unable to reach it. I wonder if this game would have benefited from being more like a horror game rather than a survival game. Be kinda like Outlast in the sense that you're stuck trying to escape a madhouse, only it's an entire town.
I love games like this. They're so amazing yet so underrated. Good Lord.

I adore this game. Folks apparently don't like its mechanics very much but I personally really liked it. It's my preference over games like Skyrim or Fallout. Sure, it's a tad short...but you get to play 3 incredibly interesting characters in a deeply interesting world. Exploring is really fun and I always found it replayable. Plus the Night Watch arcade option is sinfully fun. Can't forget the DLCs, either.

I like the part where all three main characters met each other for a few moments seems like the perfect intro for a co-op mode.
In Early Access There Was a Developer Cheat Code Where You Could Do Two Player With a Controller And a Keyboard Fun For You And Your Friend That Means You Can Do Chaos It Had Split Screen Too So You Can See What The Other Player Is Doing
