DIY Vintage Farmhouse Truck

- Yall wont believe how easy this 3D Vintage Farmhouse Truck was to make, using Dollar Tree items! Ive actually had this project in my head since before Christmas, but time got away from me and Im just now getting around to making it! If you happen to have the Red Trucks on hand from Christmas, you can totally use them. If not, no worries my friend!! Ive got ya covered!

I show you how to build it as well as paint it! Complete with shadows and highlights to give depth and make it POP! You can paint your truck turquoise, red, or any color you choose, its totally up to you and how you want to customize it!
This adorable little 3D Vintage Farmhouse Truck is going to look so cute sitting around my home and Im gonna have a blast decorating it for all of the Holidays coming up!! Be sure to stay tuned for the upcoming matching camper video!!! Just imagine..... Christmas , Valentines Day, St Patricks Day, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving..... and every other Holiday in between. Or what about Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall!!! Supplies needed:
2 Trucks from Christmas OR the Downloadable Template above. If using the template, you will also need a sheet of foam core
1 sheet of poster board
1 package of paint sticks
1 package of assorted dowels
1 package of large craft sticks
1 small wood crate from Dollar Tree
Glue Gun and Glue sticks
Paint colors of choice

At Christmas time I could not find the trucks but one day recently DT had the Valentine ones so that’s what I have. These do not have the fenders or the hearts extra they are one solid piece so I may get some balsam to make the fenders with. Thanks for sharing. Turquoise is the color scheme in my great room. So cute!

This is awesome!! I lovvvvvvvve antiques or anything that looks old so as u were doing your lo lights/highlights i thought how cool to have added some orangey rust on the hood & just a little on the sides or above tires!!! Eeeeeeeeek you could do just a little vintage rust or alottttaa rust lololol ohhhhh how adorable that would be 4 the rust lovers! Lol🤣🤣 the wisdom into this vision from just a single truck door was phenomenal!!!

I finally made my own truck only difference is instead of poster board in middle I used craft foam. I spray painted mine black then added grey and antique wax. Not perfect but I’m happy with it I don’t know how to post a pic 😆
