Greetings all. There is no need to fear. The channel is in good hands (cackle cackle) and as part of this Takeover, I shall share with you this idea that has been living rent-free in my head for way too long. So, please relax, grab a snack, and keep an open mind as I attempt to rewrite Voltron.

Honestly the galra having different physical features always stood out to me from other fictional alien species. Us, as humans, look very physically diverse despite all being 99.8% the same on the inside, so this is the first time I’ve seen a show give aliens that logic too, which I think made it more realistic. I really like the backstories you gave! They make a lot of sense!
Throughout the seasons I was like "They're gonna make Keith a galra at any moment now.... any time... any time now?" and then we reached the end of the show and I was like CRUD
I was like that too i would have LOVED to see galra keith but theclosestwe got were yellow eyes and slightly more purple skin 😞
I always headcanoned that the castle had a library in it and well this is somewhat Coran specific but does tie into my own ideas of Altean culture as well, but I've imagined him ranting on about old Altean plays/theatre, like imagine an Altean equivalent to Shakespeare or something. And maybe there were times the paladin lineup with Alfor and Zarkon (plus Coran and Alfor's wife) attended a few, but really the only ones who enjoyed them were Coran, Melenor, and Gyrgan (but he'd fail at pretending he wasn't crying at whatever play they were watching, meanwhile everyone else were bored or just found it cheesy). Heck, similar to the culture you laid out for the Galra and what males and females mostly did, and if Alteans are the opposite of Galra, and if we're talking Altean!Shakespeare, maybe males did play women parts but not because of prejudices or anything, maybe just a role reversal with the genders in society. Like males were more involved with the arts and theatre, and females were more involved in the sports and sciences? But of course these fields can be coed.

My only thought from the video was that maybe blacksmithing could be more equal among male and female since the females are home for longer periods of time than males. They can still do arts and writing, but they are also capable of making stuff as well. They could also be teachers and trainers for all children and older males that retires or cannot fight anymore would be added to making stuff and/or help raise the next generation of fighters regardless if they go out or stay home.
I gave up Voltron by the end of season 6 (kinda a smart decision, looking back), but I really like what I'm seeing right here. The amount of thought put into the world building and different takes on said world building are quite fascinating (pretty reminiscent of Brandon Sanderson's works or LotR to a certain extent). The way you talked about Voltron being this ancient legend almost reminds me of what I've heard of Go-Lion (Voltron's original Japanese counterpart), and I'd be interested to see how it all turns out. Not sure if I'd be around when it comes to any ships, but best wishes to you project.

I always felt like lore like this was the biggest thing missing from the series, it would have made the show so much more fleshed out and interesting. Thank you for taking the time to give the world the thought it deserved lol

Like, I always head cannoned that the alteans always pushed for more knowledge to an extent where sometimes they would harm others- kinda like how Haggar is before her rebirth- p.s. sry I forgot her OG name 😢

5:04 It would be cool if the rewrite started with *Romelle* narrating the legend of Voltron to Bandor before we meet her in season six proper.
So when Keith meets her and goes says "I'm a member of Voltron!" she'll be like: "Sure you are buddy, whatever you say."
Star Wars Rebels was a huge turning point for my imagination and maybe part of my personality. It definitely made me see the world in a different view and a lot of those lessons that they learned really stuck with me.

I really miss Voltron a lot. It started out amazing. I think that when Keith left that the show started crashing. Klance also didn’t work out. I’m sad about that too.

I might make a full eassy on this. But what the hell. Why the hell not. So...Voltron, I did watch it when it release and to be honest. To this day, the reason I watch the show is for lesson on writing. I really like writing as a hobby, so I really wish Voltron get one thing....a rewrite, fanfic or not. I don't care. But this series need a rewrite after so MANY FUCKING BAD FLAWS IT HAS! Season 1 is the best season, and otherall. I felt like they could've go bigger. But no, they didn't.
In my opinion, if I ever write Voltron, I want to rewrite at least 1/4 of the plot, and do more episode. Not just for filler or anything really, but it's more on expanding the whole world of Voltron: Legendary defender. It didn't get the chance to build up the whole story as a whole, and to be honest. It sucks, 10 episode or so, bro. We need more episode to help expand the story, give character some huge depth and more. So I agree with your opinion here, and so. In the next part. I'll talk about what would I rewrite for season 1 as a whole. Until then. Continue the series, I want to see what you have plans for the story, and how to fix it.

Also, are you thinking about added elements from the other Voltron Lion show, like Golion and/or V. Force?
I'm definitely looking into adding characters, locations and even story ideas from past versions. The trick is figuring out how to implement them well so it doesn't make the story drag or feel bloated. If you have any ideas or requests, let me know. I'll see what I can do. 😉

You mean Chima? No. The only other lego properties I have seen are Bionicle, The Lego Movie, the Lego Batman Movie, Monkey Kid, and Lego Elves, and I will not be writing fan fics about any of them.
