Yes you are fortunate most matepad series are not compatible with this method.

For those with more recent matepad devices such as 11 model Huagu method will not work! These device owners should not be ridiculed by your contempt! Thanks for the detailed video. I ran into a problem. The SIM card became disabled after several attempts to install GMS on my Huawei P50Pro with Kirin processor. Harmony OS 2. Bought from China Mainland. I had no problem installing the GMS, but alerts are constantly beeping for the "Google Play protect certified" pop-up message. I followed all of the instruction videos to solve that problem, and in the end, the phone lost its cellular signal. Even the Huawei store had no solution. I tried it in Thailand, Qatar, and Canada, and none worked. I then concluded it was not SIM card lock from telecom operators. I tried to turn off "Developer Mode" but didn't know how. Resetting the whole phone didn't help either. It was only when OS 3 got installed, then the problem disappeared and I could now at least use my phone. I do see you have a new video on how to install GMS on OS 3, but I am afraid the same problem happens and I have to wait for OS 4 to avoid turning the phone into a waste. I wonder if you have any suggestions or advice. I'd really appreciate it.

"Error did not backup successfully, please try again". I can pass through step 3 no matter how I try. I have a backup from december 6 (instead of yours - which is 7) 2019. And then restore is successfull but the step 3 can not be passed. I try this on a Nova 9, with EMUI 12. Do you know what the problem could be?

Unfortunately it seems to work only with the China Version of the p50 pro
it doesn't work.. at the step 9 appears an error saiyng "Parse error anno error occourred while parsing the package"
so got a problem with alerts for Google play, then after choosing cleanup, can't go over step 1... it shows that MicroG "installation failed - package signature does't match installed application"

The emui 12 is not compatible with huagu method. Even if you install native gms there are no push notifications. You can try gbox as alternative to GSpace.

The function of app guard is not as aggressive as in harmony os 2.0. You can attempt this method of gms install. There are no guarantees though.

P50 pro global. Is there way to change over to harmony os from emui 12? Tried changing region to china to install HOS but says unit not supported. Might be able to succeed installing gms if we are able to install HOS.

Tried 10 times with HuaGu3.
Tried it twice with this July 2022 update.
And every time the same result: after uninstalling MicroG and installing Google Play Services, there is no Google item in Settings, no Google accounts (although there were MicroG accounts) and the Play Market asks to enter.
I have a Huawei P40 EMUI 12 Europe phone. I tried several different firmware, downgraded to EMUI 11 - the result is the same.
Have you come across such cases? What to do?
This method requires harmony os 2.0 and EMUI will not work.

My friend has a positive experience with installing this instruction on several phones with EMUI, but the problem is only with my personal Huawei P40 EMUI 12.

I use MatePad Pro and I stuck with sign in of google play. Cannot launch HuaGu as well - it close on open app.

This method is intended for huawei smartphones running harmony os 2. Your question has nothing to do with the video topic. Currently there is no reliable proven way to install native gms into one of the Huawei smart watch devices. You may need to expand your query to include xda developers. It should be possible to transfer gspace from smartphone /pad to gt2/3. Although you can access developer options in the Huawei smart watches it would be difficult and too complex to coordinate USB debugging and adb access.

In step 4 (LZplay App on my Matepad 11) I just get a message saying something in Chinese and after clicking the blue button the app closes. I cannot get to do step 4 and therefore there is no Google Account created for Play Store which cannot be used without one. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I order my huawei phones from China to avoid EMUI, but international tablets claim to have HarmonyOS by default, rather than EMUI.
Recent Matepad devices are not compatible with this method.

I was able to complete all steps according to the video on my MatePad Pro 10.8 (2019) currently on HarmonyOS2.0, but strangely not able to start the Google Play Store app as shown in video. It just came up with blank sign-in page... Anyone else encounter the same problem?

There is another link for that notification problem along with the description on this video. It helped me with my Huawei Nova 5 pro. Perhaps it will also help your device/s.

Hello friend, ive tried it several times with the Huawei MatePad 11 and sadly it's not working. I can open up Google play store and it comes "sign in". I can click the "sign in" button as much as I want, but nothing happens. It's not continuing so that I can type username and password. Looks like frozen screen. Any ideas?

I have a Chinese market Mate 30 Pro 5G which I received years ago with the Google suite already put on it. It's updated itself over the years to Harmony OS 2.0.0. I stupidly reset the phone and lost it all and can't get anything to work now with regard to GMS. In this tutorial, I'm unable to get the ID number to show up in huagu_adb. I've tried all kinds of adb driver combos/tools to delete old adb drivers, and as a side note I can connect fine with HiSuite in developer mode, downgrade to EMUI 11 if I want, etc. I've uninstalled HiSuite too, but no difference. I never see the good connection in huagu adb app so therefore cannot continue with this tutorial.

@@Deut2867 I actually hesitated, this file was executed by the PC and not by the cell phone.. but I managed, everything was installed correctly.. the only problem is the google certificate message that I'm still solving, but it won't be difficult..
