    I recently bought these and have a few comments for anyone interested;
    So the first time I ordered them the gloves were not consistent with each other. The right glove fit perfectly, but the left glove had a lot of space in it and the hand compartment itself just didn't feel right. So I sent them back for an exchange pair. The exchange pair came in and this time the right glove finger compartment was super shallow, and the left gloves thumb compartment was shaped straight so you couldn't make a fist. Ended getting a refund. Was super bummed out because I had high hopes for them. Could have just been my experience. I will say though that the customer service was amazing!

      I had the same experience with my first order. They sent out another pair and they fit good. Customer service was good. These were my first pair of leather gloves. I only use them once a week mainly for my heavy bag. Maybe 12-15 minutes on it and also some double end bag work on that day. After close to a year and a half, they started getting a hole in one glove and the stitching is coming loose on the other in the palm of the glove. I’ve got a cheaper pair of non leather gloves I use the other two days I workout and they have held up better then these with twice the time on them. Makes me weary about getting another pair of leather gloves.

    These gloves are the best pair of gloves I've owned. Been rockin these on the bag, pads and sparring for a year now and they dont even have a scratch on it. Im a big power puncher and surprisingly I've never really hurt my hand, I only wrap my hands about half of my training sessions. I bought these for $80 as well but they're $110 now. Im thinking about getting some s40s and s50s but its hard not to just go with the one series again. The durability and feel of the leather is incredible, just an overall pleasing glove.

    Bought a pair and the right hand glove is extremely uncomfortable and tight. Blistered my pinky finger the first day. Grip bar rides up high on the fingers. Left hand fits perfect. 16 oz. gloves and one weighs 13.7 oz., other 14.7 oz. Both labeled 16 oz. Usually do 15 minutes on the double end bag and then 18 on the heavy bag. Can’t even finish because the right is so uncomfortable. Did I get a bad glove or should I try to break it in some more? To me it feels like it’s just made wrong.

    What would you say is the difference between bag gloves and sparring gloves?

    • @csquaredboxing
      @csquaredboxing  Před 4 lety +2

      Bag gloves tend to have more protective padding that sometimes denser. Also bag gloves usually come in velcro and sometimes with advanced wrist locking systems that incorporate plastic/ metal clips to secure your hand in for max protection. Sparring gloves padding is usually thicker and not as stiff so that it’s more forgiving on your sparring partner. They’re also usually lace up to prevent any cuts or abrasions while sparring compared to velcro or alternative wrist support systems.
