Where can I get the thumb screw/bolt for the cheek riser? I have a wilderness terrain, and mine only came with the Allen bolt so there is no easy way to quickly adjust. Please let me know! Thank you.

Man I was excited when I came across the title of this video because I was expecting to watch a video that talked about and described what it was like to hunt with a 10 + pound rifle. I just bought the same gun and my only reservation is hunting in the mountains with such a heavy rifle. What are you thoughts on the weight? Oh, and the video was still cool to watch.

I just bought the Bergara Wilderness Terrain in .308 Win and it weighs and its 8.9 lbs. Lighter than my .300 Win Mag!
Trigger is butter at 2.5lbs and I enjoy shooting it.
I have a Tika T3x in .308 that weighs 6.6 lbs and the recoil is noticeable not as light as the Bergara because the rifle weighs less. It's a tradeoff. There is no perfect gun.
Im looking at exactly this model for my first hunting rifle. So far I think I'll buy it. Any tips or tricks you guys have for me?
How is the weight? Aren’t these almost 10 pounds without a scope. Is that not a bit too much for hunting?

Make more left handed options! 1 option in the entire lineup is horrible. Stuck with the basic b14 HMR.
I see that the cheek riser adjustment knob is the HMR style in the video, but on the Wilderness Terrain I bought last week it was an allen key screw. Is there a way to change the allen key screw adjustment to the HMR style adjustment knob or is this done from the factory now?
I think you can buy the knob from Bergara. check their shop website.
Hola. Acabo de adquirir un b14 wilderness terrain en USA y tengo una inquietud que es si acerrojo con el seguro en la posición fuego después no puedo pasar la manilla a la posición seguro es esto así o es que mi rifle tiene un desperfecto de antemano gracias y quedo pendiente de su respuesta

Pero testimonios de el y compañeros en las pruebas de tiro a 1000 metros no superan los 14-15 aumentos, por lo que el 2.8-20 sobra ya

Teniendo en cuenta la importancia de la visión periférica.
En distancias largas se guiña, es muy incómodo si no lo haces. Ya si el tiro es a menos de 100 m no es necesario pero si el animal está parado es conveniente tb. Saludos

Definitely not a fan of Bergara. I have a B-14 HMR in 308. It is easily the least accurate rifle I own. I sent it to Bergara to have it looked at. They shot a couple 3-shot groups and sent it back to me without touching it or even telling me they were returning it. Now I'm stuck with a ~$1,000 mistake that shoots ~1.2 MOA 5-shot groups with the ammo Bergara recommends. On the other hand, I have a Tikka CTR that averages
Take the muzzle break off and try it. I was ready to sell mine too. With the break off it shoots half moa
@@triplehelper6944 I don’t have a muzzle brake on it. I never did. I can’t even imagine why anyone would feel the need to put a muzzle brake on a 308, unless they just enjoy deafening the poor souls next to them at the range.
