I was not born to attend this crusade during 1958. But it's God's will to listen this recorded sermon of Billy Graham. I pray God wash my sins with your precious blood shed on the cross. Lord i pray as YOU forgave the criminal on the cross while you were crucified, please forgive me and make my heart a new heart and your child. Help me and guide me as i live in this world. Thanks to Graham generation to bring and keeping the preaching alive. God bless 🙏

First time I heard the Gospel was through Bill Graham, broadcasting from Manila,Philippines. By a random spectrum in his Radio, from the Far East, the seed of God's Word was sown in my heart; it was watered by Pastor Percy King of Tasmania, Australia. After that, I bought a cheap Bible with the Old & New Testaments. When I read Genesis 1:1--where God said, "Let
there be light", in that moment, I felt I believed God---He is Creator! I knew I was Saved!--[BL]

I love his zealousness and passion for preaching the word of God.
It is self-evident, that his passionate support for our Messiah was genuine.
Nevertheless, his interpretation of sin coming into the body of Christ is the reason why He was left alone at the cross by His God (His DAD)
is an erroneous interpretation of the scriptures.
We understand today that the real sin problem is man's separation from God. The cause of sin is the penalty of death.
God saw the cruelness of those evil people chanting for His death.
He separated from His Son's presence, and so death overshadowed Christ.
I think that God would have destroyed the entire civilization if He had stayed there any longer at the cross with His only-begotten Son.
No one can or ever will understand God's suffering from His beloved Son's Crucifixion. All in all, this is a great sermon.

Jesus was born incarnate to a young Jewish virgin, lived a sin free life, was illegally persecuted and then crucified on a cross on Calvary. He arose three days later defeating death and descended into Heaven where He sits at the right hand of God.
He was raised in a family who didn't believe in His divinity. He had six half-brothers and two or three sisters who didn't believe in His divinity until after His resurrection. What gets me is demons knew His divinity but men and women of His time didn't. Strange.
I presume Mary and Joseph knew His divinity. But in Luke 2:49-50 [NKJV] “He said to them, [His earthly parents] “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”
Did they not understand Jesus' divinity? This makes me wonder.
Luke 3:23 states that Jesus was "about 30 years of age" at the start of his ministry.
Jesus preformed 14-15 miracles (they were called signs) in the three years or so of His ministry on earth.
Jesus' miracles were followed by Jesus forgiving the individuals of their sins and commanded they sin no more. Many of Jesus' miracles were not identified. No other religious leader forgave mankind of their sins.
Our sins separate us from God, and there’s nothing we can do to make things right. So, we need someone to save us from our sins and make us acceptable to God. That someone is Jesus Christ. 'Neither is there salvation in any other: for among men there is given no other Name under heaven, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12 GNV)
That’s why God sent Jesus to earth. Jesus’ death on the cross paid for every wrong we’ve ever commented or will do. Jesus made it possible for us to have a relationship with God the Father.
Therefore by the deeds of the law [Ten Commandments) no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law our sins are recognized not saved.
I have confessed my sins and iniquities before Jesus Christ, at the foot of the cross, daily. Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, to His disciples that: “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” I will not have to stand before the Great White Throne of God, my sins have been cleansed by Jesus Christ. As I said earlier: I am a Christ-follower and live in the Kingdom of God on earth in Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior, and Leader and by the grace and mercy of God.
I Love Jesus Christ despite the fact that I'm human and I fail Him daily; I pick up my cross daily and follow Him. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He was crucified on the cross where He died for my sins, and that He rose again on the 3rd day to give me a way through salvation and sanctification. He loves me dearly and forgives my sins. His Word says that if I deny Him before men, He will deny me before His Father.
I am a Christ-follower and live in the Kingdom of God on earth in Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior, and Leader and the grace and mercy of God. God bless.

Billy Graham is not a special person of God. He was a man on his way to the lake of fire. Then Jesus saved him, from the wrath to come. You to can be saved, from the torment of the lake of fire to come. call on Jesus, He is worthy to save you from the wrath to come. he will also give you eternal life. A gift of God, because he loves you, and all. Yes Billy Graham is not special, but he is saved by Jesus.

Hi Bill Cheney! You are correct in your explanation re Billy Graham's testimony--he is just an old sinner saved by grace. However, thank God that His servant was willing to commit his life so fully to Him in order to allow God to work through him so mightily. You and I too can be used by God like this if we are willing to give ourselves to HIM in the way Billy Graham has done. May it be so!

For salvation, we just need to follow the way they did it in Acts?
They repented, were baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and received the gift of the Holy Ghost, Acts 2:38!
Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead and walking in the newness of life.
That's what Acts 2:38 is. It harmonizes with Matthew 28:19, and all the other salvation scriptures.
We can't pick and choose which scriptures we like or dislike.
We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOTH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT for a man be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter the kingdom of GOD.
We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans.
Our salvation has to match up with the scriptures, and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. Eternity is TOO long to be WRONG! St, John 5:39, search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church.
It's better to walk alone than with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, And they continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS, and the other is a WORK OF FAITH or OBEDIENCE TO GOD.
If I buy you a cake and tell you to come to get it, and you refuse to, then you won't have the cake even though it's been fully paid for. Christ paid the full price for our salvation. If we refuse to come to him and obey Acts 2:38 as they did, how shall we receive his salvation?
Noah believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN WORKED OR OBEYED TO BUILD THE ARK TO BE SAVED. LOT believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN OBEYED AND LEFT SODOM. This is why Jesus said, He that who believes and is baptized shall be saved. We must believe and obey Acts 2:38. All scriptures have to harmonize together..

@@bruce8961 I feel so sorry for you. Paul was writing to the church at Corinth.
They were saved people already in the church. Read Corinthians 1:2.
The letters were written to the church. A people who were already baptized into the church.
You have to read and ask God to open your understanding and give you the experience of Acts 2:38 which you more than likely haven't obeyed.
I obeyed it about 28 years ago still to this day.
Eternity is too long to leave this earth thinking you are saved only to be lost.
You have to obey Acts 2:38 just like everybody else. Do you think you are special? Lol.
If the Holy Ghost is going to teach you, then why did God call some apostles, prophets, and teachers for the perfection of the saints? Mark 16:16, John 3:3-5, Colossians 2:12, Galatians 3:27, Acts 2:38, Romans 6:3-5, 1 Peter 3:21? etc.
Come on stop this foolishness before you end up in hell and cause others to follow you. I tell you in love. Wake up!
