theoretically this could be the easiest run possible tbf.
If both games were to get identical RNG it would mostly just be a normal Playthrough.
Obviously that's PURELY theoretical, but it could explain why you'd think it'd be easy.

@@dev655conyea this is so wrong to assume, because after one different rng output (which happens in every boss fight 99% of the time) the gamestates shift and it becomes more and more disconnected after that inevitably..
there is a higher chance that you go out and get hit by a lightning

The most wild part to me is how out of sync they were at the time too. They were both doing entirely different attacks to start so seeing that turn into a double parry twice was incredible

This is way way way harder than you think it is. Like harder than a blind run by a substantial margin, because you’re blind to your screen, getting wrong auditory information from the game in front of you, trying to call it out to your friend, and additionally receiving their words.
This wouldn't really work in real time lol

its crazy how when the bosses also sync up it just looks like reality lines up for a few moments it was crazy during Niall then goes back to randomness

There was just too much jank with how this was setup to make another thing like this enjoyable. Because I can only be tabbed into one program at a time on a computer (and ER is very intensive), the game that I'm not tabbed into lags a good bit. This isn't a problem for boss fights really, except some minor input delay, but the main problem/annoyance is that when just traversing the overworld they become desynced very quickly, thus causing traversal in the world very tedious and annoying. Maybe in the future if I can find a solution to that problem I would do more things with this, but nothing planned or anything lol
@@star0chris maybe with the dungeon crawler mod or something that turns it into a boss rush without overworld
@@star0chris there is supposedly a way to control 2 PC's at the same time or through one. we did some testing at school last year IT but we never tried to launch and play games/same game at the same time. i'll look more into it if you want me to.

The thing that gets me with these runs is that theoretically, you press the same buttons at the same time on the same machine and everything should be the same
the radahn fight made my brain feel the tickles

you amaze everybody with your awesome playthroughs idea. i may not be a fan of streamers or this game but i always make sure to leave a like and a comment for the algorithm on videos i enjoy this much. editing is always on point as well. real pleasure to watch. make sure to get enough rest so you dont get burned out again!

You can play demon's souls remake and the PS3 version at the same time. I used rcps3 with demon's souls and remote play from PS5 version on my PC and it just worked. My dual sense was connected to my PC. I believe you have change a setting in rcps3 to make read ur inputs when the window isnt focused, but it works and is actually easy to set up
