Meet the Crew - SpaceX Crew 8 Mission Specialist Alexander Grebenkin

No earlier than Sunday, March 3, 2024, the four members of the NASA SpaceX Crew-8 mission will launch to the International Space Station. Serving as one of the two mission specialists is Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin, who will be making his first flight to space.
Prior to beginning cosmonaut training, Grebenkin served in the Russian Air Force as an engineer between 2002 and 2018.

Russians have been letting Americans go for the past decade so that’s probably why.

NASA and Roscosmos has an agreement to fly each others astronauts. American and European astronauts fly on Soyuz, so they let Russian astronauts fly on Dragon.
