  • Embark on a captivating journey across time and continents, where ancient myths intertwine with modern lives. Discover the remarkable link between the sacred city of #ayodhya in India and the distant shores of South Korea.
Amidst the whispers of the holy River Sarayu, a story unfolds, one that resonates deeply with millions of South Koreans.
Beyond Ayodhya's renowned status as the birthplace of Lord Rama lies a unique narrative that ties the hearts of two nations through the captivating tale of Princess Suriratna.
Legend speaks of a young princess, born in Ayodhya to King Padmasen, who embarked on a voyage that transcended borders and cultures.
Guided by divine dreams and ancient texts, Princess Suriratna, known also as Queen Heo Hwang-ok, left an indelible mark on history.
Her journey, etched in the pages of Korean history, tells of a queen who founded a dynasty, leaving a legacy that millions proudly claim as their own.
This pursuit leads to the construction of the Heo Hwang-ok Memorial, a testament to the enduring bond between two nations.
In the present day, South Koreans flock to Ayodhya, not as tourists, but as pilgrims, searching for their ancestral roots in the sacred city.
Former South Korean Ambassador to India Shin Bong-kil in an interview to ‪@ANINewsIndia‬ -"Ayodhya has important relations with Korea. In Korea's ancient history book, it's written that a princess from Ayodhya married a Korean king, Kim Suro. In archaeological findings from the king's tomb, artifacts belonging to Ayodhya have been found."
This short documentary is more than just a historical exploration; it's a celebration of cultural unity, a testament to the enduring power of shared legends, and a reminder that the threads of our past can weave together the most unexpected tapestries of the present.
Join us on this journey as we explore the extraordinary bridge of legend and legacy that connects Ayodhya and Korea.
We believe this documentary will resonate with viewers interested in history, mythology, cultural exchange, and the power of shared human experience.

This information is wrong. This Korean prince is the tamil prince sempavalam who travelled from AY kingdom, also called as ayutta (Pandya king vassal state) from south tamilnadu. She travelled by sea. You can find a lot of tamil words in Korean. Northies Are Now stealing tamil History too.
