Scorpo, you forgot the most important part of Polish WW2 activity. When a single polish destroyer, tormented the KMS Bismarck for an entire night. The crew fired everything at the german warship, from the destroyers 4 inch guns, to garbage and pistol rounds. The members of the crew that could play an instriument, reportedly came out on deck and played Poland's Anthem. All while the destroyer broadcasted the message: "I am a pole" to the Bismarck.
During the early stages of WW2 a Polish soldier Stefan Karaszewski was covering the retrieval of other polish troops. During that he killed 11 German soldiers, destroyed 2 motorbikes and 6 tanks. Cześć i chwała bohaterom!

In case somebody is not aware and would like to know: it wasn't hussars who fought in WW1 and WW2, that formation did not exist for a long while by then. The majority of the horseback formations which fought for Poland in these times were traditionally called "Ułani" (Uhlans) and they were a light, gun-equipped cavalry which never charged tanks or any other armored vehicles, for that matter, but they were decisive in a couple of important battles because of their ability to easily and quickly flank infantry. They also fought and won against soviet WW1 horse cavalry. In the essence, they weren't supposed to fight horseback, just use the horses to move around and then fight on foot like regular infantry but they did actually charge enemy infantry in a couple of battles and it was supposedly very effective.
