- Powers up with blue light then shuts down immediately - any help or advice would be appreciated!
UPDATE - I took the plug out and left it overnight, booted up straight away the next morning 👍 Fingers crossed no further issues! - Zábava

For the people not knowing shit. The ps5 didn’t turn on when he press the button. It makes that small sound but it didn’t turn on.

Just happened to me too!! But Sony fixed it for free 😝 even without original purchase receipt

The answer to this everyone is if it’ll do what his is and goes right back off it’s not the darn controller needing to be paired some of these psn’s are having problems, but the answer is you gotta just keep plugging it in somewhere else and waiting clicking the button like u gotta wait hours then randomly it’ll turn on but turn right back off but when it flashes at first when it lets u turn it on hold down the button and on the screen it’ll ask u if you wanna reset it and do that and it should fix it but mine does it all the time and at first it was whenever I unplugged it and transported it somewhere else but now when I turn it off it does it sometimes and it realllly sucks cause it can go days without working I needa just send it back to psn, they have lifetime warrantys
so do I js wait till it works again?😭

Yo you have a power supply problem
Plug in a keyboard to the front USB A port and hold down F5 and turn it on. After that, you have successfully paid your respects.

My ps5 did this when I tried to restart my ps5.. it did turn off but didn't want to turn back on.. I unplugged the power cord for a few seconds plugged it back in worked perfectly fine after.
Same with mine just got it any answer on why ??
@@MrSinCityKing probably because the console it’s close to bricking I don’t really know but if it keeps happening leave the console alone for a while. I only encountered this problem once.

The power supply must of come loose usually happens when the console is moved around too much or fall off a shelf. Happened to my cousin it’s not a hard fix fortunately

It does not come already paired, thats why it turned when u pressed the button but not when u plugged in the controller. You pair them right after the console starts up for the 1st time.
It's plugged in so it doesn't matter if it was already paired or not.

Hold the PlayStation Button and it will turn on low it will only turn off if you had it on for too long and it needs to cool off

i saw that controller is connected to the USB cable. that means when you have bluetooth on other devices ending your game and connect to ps5, you cant turn on same like ps5.
So The power indicators is off for a short time and ps5 beep kept 1x. Then the Power indicators is turned on while the beep does again. if you wait for 4.5 seconds and it just turned off. 😅😅

How did you get yours to turn on? It just happened to me for the first time when I tried booting up a game. Screen went black and 5 seconds later the console shut down and won’t turn on like yours

@@MooseSkin22 was it a game crash? You have to unplug your ps5 from the outlet for a few seconds and then plug it back in. Then try to turn it on. It should start rebuilding database
I did that, I’m going to leave it unplugged for the day, try tomorrow, I just want to cry, I’ll let you know how it goes

It has something to do with the mother board. I was playing and out of no where my screen froze. I unplugged it and plugged it back in because the power button wasn’t responding. I tried turning it on again and it was doing exactly what the video shows. I took it to two different console repair shops and both of them said they cannot fix it because the mother board isn’t receiving enough power. I just delivered my ps5 to Sony so now I have to wait 15 days. Hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

You're supposed to turn on the ps5 first then use a cable to connect the ps5 to the controller and then press the playstation button to connect it to the ps5. An unconnected controller wont turn on the ps5. This is the same thing with the ps4 c'mon man
