My ps5 is totally unresponsive. I’ve unplugged things and tried holding the power button for 15 sec. There is no orange or blue light. It is unresponsive to any buttons. The controller also won’t turn on because of it. There is also a game inside that won’t come out
I’m sorry to hear that. Have you also tried a different power cable and a different power outlet? Also there are videos online how to get a stuck disc out by removing the ps5 covers and a particular screw you can turn. Hope that will help you!

@@seifyasser2225 it was a dumb mistake on my part, the outlet that my ps5 was plugged into must’ve stopped working. I plugged it into a new outlet and it started working again
@@Bigmonke02 mine was a real issue but I just removed the power cable for a minute then plugged it again and it worked

All i did at a friend's was turn it off and moved to a different spot in the room from 10pm to now 12:30pm on nov 13, 2023 it just beeps and nothing I went home and tried it and still nothing

The light still turns on for me but no display or sound comes through. Nothing appears when I put it in safe mode either. I was just playing it and it shits out on me

@@RobinB360 I tryed putting a disk in, and upluging it, switching Wall outlets.... Finally I took it to a repair shop but they was closed for the weekend so hopefully I'll hear something today
Well the repair shop was unable to fix the problem would love to pick you brain bc it looks like I'm gonna haft to be the one to open her up and I'm definitely not the diy type

Thank you, my breaker flipped and the ps5 wouldn't turn on even with a dogferent cable and different putlet but unplugging it for 30 seconds made it come back on :) was very worried.

Mines want come on I had it in my trunk in Las Vegas for 5 weeks and it doesn’t even come on is it possibly my power cord overheated in the hot trunk ? Or is my ps5 fried for the heat ?
I can’t say for sure what the actual cause of the issue is that you are having on your PS5. But I can imagine the heat wouldn’t be good for the PS5. If the tips didn’t work I would suggest to have the PS5 checked. Hope your issue gets resolved soon.

I have the same issue here. I bought Ps5 digital only 1 week ago. I made the set up properly, downloaded a game, played 4-5 hrs with no issue. Yesterday I wanted to play a game and when I tried to turn on my console, neither from the controller nor from the power button on the device I could turn it on! I checked the cables etc.. all worked fine with other devices. I tried every trick I found on CZcams but no success. This is really annoying to have this issue with a console I just bought. I also have Xbox Series S, I am using it since 2021, so far I never had one single issue with it.

@@RobinB360 hi man, speaking of ps5 no I never left it in rest mode. This is something I always do; I properly shut it down and in order to avoid from high voltage etc.. I always unplug it.

Hi, thank you for your video. However, I still have this issue with my ps5. This happened today and every time I turned it on, it went to the repairing console storage screen. It restarted after the repairing but then it shut off immediately. I then went into safe mode and installed the latest update. Didn’t work. I went back to safe mode and selected the rebuild database. My ps5 rebooted and went to the “your ps5 wasn’t turned off properly” screen and when I press ok, it just shut down completely. Tried all the methods your video showed but still no luck. I don’t even know what to do at this point.
Hi, no problem. First of all I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue. Just to confirm, did you also try to power cycle the ps5? Also when it shuts down, does it make any beeping sounds? Otherwise I think the last option would be to contact Sony. Hope your issue gets resolved soon for you.
@@RobinB360 Mine wouldn’t power on, called Sony they want $250! I’m seeing many people with the same problem, PS5 needs a recall ASAP..

Right. Tried all the options I can do without going into software.
I shut down the ps5 the night, unplugged the power from the wall (bad surges here). The next morning I replug the power. Push the ps button on my controller. And to my horror the damn thing doesn't start up. Imagine my fury at that moment. I fking knew something shit had happened. And I'm the ONLY ONE who handles the console. It's in my room. Laying horizontally on top of my PC. They don't normally share use at the same time, but the airflow coming out of the top of the pc isn't hot. But I digres. The pc wasn't on that evening of some PS gaming. Overheating was not an issue. The disc I used was still in there, of course I used the screw ejector.
Tried to cycle the power. Nothing. Tried to insert a disc while cable was in and powered. Nothing. Well. Off to a repair centre we go. Hope I don't lose my PS during courier transits...

My ps5 wont turn off. I took it off rest mode to download 2k 23. I downloaded the most recent update after then before you know it the system was acting like it was rebooting, all I see are blue flashing lights, and no screen. The system only beeps once no matter how long I hold down the button. And get this I can unplugg it from the power supply for as long as I want (20 mins to 3 hrs) as soon as I plug it up it the flashing blue lights come right back on. It just had to happen the day 2k came out lol my system was fine before then
Oh man! That’s sad to hear! Especially when you want to play a new game. Just a question tho, when you inplug the power supply, did you plug it directly into the wall socket or a power bracket?
Also have you tried different wall sockets? Really hope it gets resolved for you soon, so you can enjoy NBA 2K23.
I have tried every socket power surge strip etc. It's weird because I unplugged everything for an hr and it still starts right up. It won't even go into safe mode. I'm curious to find out what's going on, It's very strange especially since im unplugging it from the main power source. I thought I'd have to hit the power button for the fan to even start.

When I press the power button the blue light turns on but a second later the light turns off and I don’t know what to do
Well an issue i had I was playing the night before and the next day it wouldn't turn on all there was just a blue light and thats all so every time I would press the power button a blue light will turn on and it would just stay blue sooo I opened up just to do a cleaning which idk if that helped but it look like it did so once I build it all together I heard a beep and it was turing on and connecting to the today so I thought it work but now there was another problem the Ps5 would stay on for 5 secs and then shut off and kept repeating so im not an professional or anything but apparently the it was the fan that stop working idk how the day before its fine and the next day it stops working so I took it out and ordered a new one to replace it and well the Ps5 was working again so long story short might probably be the fan
The thing that is dumb is if it is the fan idk why the ps5 wasn't turing on to begin with so thats why I opened and took everything apart just to give it a cleaning which idk if that helped or not because after when I put everything back it was turning on and running and idk why it couldn't do that before if it was the fan that needed fixing just to save you time from taking everything apart just probably replace the fan and probably make sure its clean from the ps5 vents where air passes inside if not can cause it to malfunction the dust
Will boot into safe mode, but none of the options help. Will still only boot from safe mode to a black screen. Hard drive issue? IGP issue?

I made mine work for like a good 30 min but other than that it doesn’t work like the light would blink blue then turn white it would show the ps5 symbol then it would just turn off.
What did you need to do in order for it to work? Maybe I can help you.

If you tried everything, the only option would be to check if you can get it repaired/replaced under warranty.
My PlayStation turned off after getting hot and now it won’t turn on or anything

I unplugged my power cord from my PS five and I also unplugged my HDMI cord and as soon as I it back in after 30 minutes was up I just plugged in the power cord press the power button and my PS five turned on then I plugged back in my HDMI cord

Seems like you already tried every step including different cables, tv/monitor, power cable etc. I think now is a good time to contact Sony. Hope they will resolve your issue within warranty..

This is very useful but didn't work for me :( If i press the power button on the playstation 5 it beeps but doesn't light up. If i press it again it lights up for a second then fades back to no color (not even orange).

Just a few questions:
- Did you unplug the power cable from the ps5 AND wall socket?
- if so, for how long?
- And have you fried booting to safe mode?
