Tanks vs Bikes! Astra Militarum vs Dark Angels Ravenwing Warhammer 40k 2000 point Battle Report

- Back to business as usual with our 10th Edition Monday battle reports, with Chris back at the helm of the Imperial Guard versus Will's Dark Angels Space Marine Ravenwing Detachment meta skew list. It's a battle of lots of tanks vs lots of bikers, speed vs chaff, oh and a Baneblade of course.
The Adeptus Astartes force today comprises of a lot of Black Wing Knights, some speedy Primaris speeders and a lot of outriders (sorry about the base size..), with the Astra Militarum focussing on some vanilla Leman Russ battle tanks, Basilisks, Baneblade and the usual Scout Sentinel indirect nonsense.
It's a long one, but it's a lot of fun. Let us know if you'd like to see more of either of these forces in the channel, and how Chris can get his Guard mojo back! After being out of the hobby for a long while I decided I would go with Ravenwing (pretty much all bikers) and it’s been incredibly hard to find battle reports where folks are playing with mostly biker lists. I would love to see another one sometime. Thanks for the video!

The Dark Angels have some nice looking vechicles.
When you allocate precision to a character, the model does have to be visible you can't shoot a body guard unit and allocate it to the character if you can't see it , just when you were targeting lord solar with the vidicare
ahh shame! But makes a lot of sense. Completely wasted anyhow, but it would have been glorious if it worked!
Subbing cuz I need all the DA content I can get! great match, the DA list would probably benefit from a Dark shroud and a LS vengeance or two to go along with the ATV's. Stacking Returning fire seems like the way to go with ravenwing. You had a weird mic reverb happen a couple times not sure what that was about. great match to watch all the same!
Thanks pal! Absolutely right we're missing some Darkshrouds and Vengances, never really thought about doubling down on the returning fire, that could be absolutely gross! We had some pesky tech gremlins on audio for the game (chris' mic decided to die at some point) so had to hash together what we could. Thanks for the sub and the watch, more to come dude.
