Hats off to you brother. Honda has slipped down with regards to this audio video system. My car system has a lot of touch problems. upper half of the screen touch not working and only lower half works & that too it exits to homescreen within 1 second. i can only connect bluetooth to play songs. radio button is stuck to AM mode, FM touch is not working at all.. Isaw your video and today im going to try using bluetooth internet and installing firefox .

Very good information. I am also facing digi pad touch screen problem. Honda dealer gives a very simple solution. 🥱Replace it just cost rs 40000 😭. Go for Indias proud Maruti.

I have honda city 2018 . Sometimes digipad touch response does not work but sometimes it works but it changes the radio channels erratically by itself . Is this a clock spring issue?
Its more than that. Better to get your unit replaced.

You cannot. Touch panel needs to be replaced.
My Honda Amaze Pride edition of 2018 has issues of touch pad. but is the radio stations keep on shifting, how to correct that?

Please do give alternatives taking preinstalled speakers in consideration. Digipad does a decent job with respect to audio output and processing. Android Units may not be able to give same output depending on brand

I'm a music lover and i do go for long drives. What's your opinion on Android music system and do you suggest me to go for a new one with 2/4 GB ram and 32/64 GB memory. Shall be obliged for suggestions. Regards
Yes definitely go ahead with Android system. Also, its important that you buy atleast 4GB/64GB variant. Do not buy 2GB/32GB as it start to hang and get slow over time.

The length of Gear stick is quite small, would you please tell if replacing it is a good idea? Or is there any other solution for it?
Replacing or not is a preference thing. My personal preference is to keep it stock OEM. Although I agree its smaller, I am used to it now. There are several aftermarket gear knobs available which you can go for. Try to keep it light as OEM, and not too heavy.

Digipad 1.0 doesn't have carplay option. It only has mirrorlink.
Sir can recommend a of the market digi pad for replacement as mine OEM has developed a huge bubble and now I hv got lines on the screen. Woodman is one i am looking at. Can u suggest pls with pros n cons. I don't want to spend much but definitely need a functional digi pad. So many models are available i am confused which will suit us best. Not very expensive but functional

If the display panel is of good quality, it will be able to withstand the heat. Also you can take some small steps such as not parking the car in direct sunlight all day. Alternatively you can use sunshades while parking like I have shown in this video: czcams.com/video/FADwVNtzEBE/video.html
I think all Honda Owners should watch this video and understand that they are not the only one who has this Crap AVN. I get it replaced ..it took one year to fight with Honda ...finaly get replaced ..was facing bubble issue .,. I think all Honda Owners should join hand together and make travel tech as lead to make Honda company understand about there poor product ...spending heavy amount in cars and providing outdated substandard AVN . There must be something legal that every Honda Owners can give good lesson to Honda Company that where customers was at fault !!!
Yes Honda has really done a bad job with digipad, with an otherwise excellent car. I have made my best attempts to make the digipad as useful as possible. Will be making a video soon regarding which AV unit is best for replacement.

You can enquire for the gear knob with Honda Service Centre or try Boodmo app. If you get it, can get it replaced.
Dear Sir, may thanks for your videos. Im unable to download any apk in Digipad 1.0 default browser. It always shows download in process and finally unsuccessful message will pop up even though there is sufficient space. Do we have to install any microsd before downloading . Please guide
No need of SD card. It should download to internal storage. Try resetting the Digipad and connect to an alternate network.
Hello I have an issue of my car digipad 1.0 even after the car engine off the digipad light is blinking due to that the battery is getting down..I am to confused is there any solution..
That is not normal. If the light is blinking even after the car is turned off, then there must a problem with the electronics or the battery. I recommend that you immediately take your car to Honda Service centre and get it checked.

Performance is similar to DG1.0, but it is definitely better than DG1.0. Upgrade it if you are getting it for free.

You probably got a Digipad 2. Honda jas disabled any app downloading ability in Digipad 2. It is possible only in Digipad 1.

I recommend not to. The updated version has Android Auto which the previous version doesnt have.
I had this issue Replaced the whole unit with some after market stuff 10 inch pad.

Check the power port connector. Unplug it and blow up any dirt/dust there and reconnect.

Yes there it. If it's under warranty, then replace it new one by giving complaint to Honda Service Centre. If it's out of warranty, then get it removed and install an new system.

Hi.
Currently all support for Spotify and even the browser of digipad is removed. It is not possible to access any of those now. It was available at the time of making those videos about 3 years ago. I recommend you replace your Digipad to an Android system and get all latest apps and features.
Installing the after market stereo & keeping the OE speakers will affect the sound quality
True👍 For audio enthsiasts, its recommend to get speakers changed as well. For others, stock speakers will be just fine.

I am getting an error session not connected while I connect the phone by USB cable. Any idea what is the problem? I tried doing factory reset but problem is not solved.

@@traveltechyoutube hi, I think I am using Digipad 2. I used to connect my phone by USB cable and open my phone gmap navigation on my digipad. It's no more working now as I get this session not connected error.
Try connecting using a different usb cable. Also try connecting with an alternate smartphone to check if it gives the same problem.
I get repetitive messages like start up notification, media device not connected and the system keeps rebooting on pressing ok button
You can try to reset the device via settings.
Digipad 2.0 is really smooth no problem till now. Only problem is can't install any app unlike you

Takeout is, Honda Digipad is worse quality. You can't do anything about this, Honda won't help you with Digipad issues.
