Funny enough, came across this figure on another profile and I ordered from eBay today 😅 I absolutely love V for vendetta and I’m thrilled to finally have a well articulated figure (that’s affordable lol)

Nice review. I was a bit disappointed by this figure for two reasons - problem standing, as you stated, and it's a true 1/12, which is considerably smaller than my Mezcos and NOTA figures in my collection. All this being said, still glad I picked him up. I'm really liking these 3rd party soft good figures, and I'm pretty much exclusively collecting only them.
I know the company BulletHead did a V too!!

There are so many awesome figures that aren't licensed. I wish i wasn't so particular over licenses, but i can't help it. It's such an awesome movie
The funny thing is, I'm fairly certain Mezco could make an official one if they wanted to.
(Last I knew, their licence allows them to make anything from DC).

"The first V for Vendetta figure in 15 years" that statement is false since their was a company who made a V for Vendetta figure as articulated as this one by another third party figure company named Bullethead whuch they made theirs 5 years back but had actual rooted hair.
Also this looks more like a vast improvement over the bullet head figure only issue both had no ankle oivot which sucks
I thought this was the same figure, damn. That one had metal knives too which was awesome.

@@sirdork730 It came packaged exactly the same way and it also had metal knives and a rose, the gloves and boots were also a single piece like this one. I want to say its 99% the same figure, apart from the rooted vs plastic hair. I think the belt was slightly fancier in the older one also.
I've had this fig for a few months, and it also has metal knives.
One of the belt loops came broken on mine unfortunately, still need to re- glue 😅@@Tremain

Great, I have a similar 3rd party V figure which is like 7 or 8 years old. The QC issues on my figures are too much to enjoy the figure. I hope this one is built well.

You know this is actually a reissue, this thing came out like 4 years ago
The one from 4 years ago is Bullethead V Mask, this one is DS Toys V Fighter (I had a look but can't see any indication that DS Toys released this previously?) - they could be the same company, but the figures are significantly different, different hat, clothes, belt, mask, rooted hair on one, knives, rose, boots, etc, so even if it was the same company it's too different to be a reissue.

What do you mean first there was a bullet toys brand v for vendetta long ago? With real clothes and it was 1/12 i don't approve it was the best figure i haven't got my hands on won but they review that four years ago? This is a new version but not the same brand as bullet toys. Looks good i love the show i hope it stays that way

Not the greatest figure or worth the $80. I had to spend a few hours fixing the broken belt and poor cape wiring that came out of the box. My first clue that this was going to be a bust was the fact that "gunpowder" is actually misspelled on the box cover. It just went south from there after opening it. I fixed everything the best that I could so hopefully I'll be able to get some decent pics with it. The figure is relatively smaller than most modern 1/12 scale figures. The ankles aren't articulated either. I'll likely have to find a 3D printed replacement set of boots to get articulation. I give it a 2/5 rating which breaks my heart because I was really wanting a great V figure.
Yea, the lack of ankle articulation is absolutely horrid. Made even worse with the baffling absence of peg holes under the boot.
Let me know if you find a decent solution for the fix!
Mine also came with a broken belt, and wire coming out one side of the cape, but I can't help but still love the figure.
