That’s a good option for something you would only use maybe 1 time a year .
I have only used a manual rake for this. And that’s a workout .
My experience with the Electric, de thatcher the supplied bag was too small. I had to stop and empty bag every 30 seconds much easier and faster to pick up clippings with regular lawnmower with bag attached.🍕

Hey Henry. Have you thought about mounting one of those power packs to the frame and plugging into that, so the cord isn't in the way? Wonder if that would work.
That’s an excellent idea but I don’t think it would work because this machine draws a lot of amps. Way more than a power drill
Make sure you have a cord rated for the amps of the motor if not it will burn the motor.
I won’t be using this thing for another year. Worked for two days straight on the cord.

The bags are a joke. I have a different one, and I had to empty bag every 10 ft. I went over it with a mower with a bag on it.
