this continues on where my last vlog left off in old Riyadh Saudi Arabia. This Local man asked if i was a Vlogger and then decided to take me on a tour , he isnt a tour guide but was funny and lots of info.... i had planned on heading bak until i met him, quite a bit of history here in this main old part of the city.. everyone was very friendly and ended tge night being invited by strangers to join them for tea and cake, then off to a Shisha bar! quite the day, as you can see woman wear all kinds of clothing, its no longer mandatory for women to cover themselves up, although you will see a lot of local women fully covered , a few told me it was just because of tradition and not that they had to do it... for tourists it seems you can wear what you like, i saw women in short sleeved shorter dresses..its changed a lot and is still rapidly changing. as always..thanks for watching

Hi Emma, this doctor in his eighties is so intelligent and very alert for his age and was proud to show you his city, very nice and heartwarming moment, he is really a kind soul. It was really interesting to hear his story about these childhood memories. I enjoyed his energetic way of guiding and explaining things with deep feelings. I was quite surprised the nice Saudi Doctor was in his 80s. He looks great and is very sharp. He is way all people should be. Welcoming, hospitable, and kind.

What an awesome man. I love chatting people up when I travel. Seriously I cannot compare to Emma, but just chatting with people in the place you are visiting is really fun and you learn a lot. I'm always surprised I can do it because I'm pretty introverted but it's gratifying.

You are correct as it’s fine when I play it on my phone. I watch it on my tv at night and sound is distorted but not on other videos. Do you use a phone or Go-Pro? That doctor was so lovely and very interesting. So respectful. I love the Middle East so keep showing the safe travel areas for females. Love from Scotland x

I do NOT need to wear a hijab in Saudi , even locals don’t need to if they don’t want to … I always respect the cultures wherever I go and if you’ve seen any of my other vlogs you will know that , but in Saudi you can now wear pretty much what you want within reason …
The laws of Saudi Arabia said it’s okay to wear anything even to Saudi themselves I’m a Saudi btw . I’m 100% sure that you are not a Saudi and talking with these things. It’s obvious you didn’t even know the laws! Saudi will host expo 2030 and World Cup 2034 so do you think all of the women will come they will wear hijab ! In Saudi we respect all the religions and nationalities
