Next Up for Top Rank Boxing, WBC/WBO/IBF light heavyweight king Artur Beterbiev now has a date to defend his crown. After recent dental surgery forced Beterbiev to postpone his Aug. 19 title defense against former world champion Callum Smith, the two will now meet Saturday, Jan. 13 at Videotron Centre in Quebec City, Canada.
Beterbiev vs Smith and the co-feature will be televised live on ESPN. Undercard action will stream exclusively in the U.S. on ESPN+.

Mayorga is what you call a real tough slugger and one hell of an OG. But Cotto is a purest boxer right from the bell. Both warriors and respect to them.

His hand didn't hurt. That left hook shook his brain matter into the twilight zone. He then began having phantom pains and didn't realize it was a figment of his imagination😅 That's my take. He's tough though he was able to get up and quit on his own accord. That's a clean shot he took in the middle of trying to land something ferocious himself. Most people would have gone to sleep badly. He had a world class chin for sure. Imagine if this guy would have had a really good trainer and taken it seriously 😮

Cotto and Mayorga traded left hooks. Their fists collided mid punch but not straight on. It was a partial contact, but Cotto dislocated Mayorga's thumb. On some anime last fight of season 3 type of finale.

I always rooted against Mayorga as most people did. He was always the villain but I also rooted against him bc his boxing was so damn ugly. Ugly af yet effective

How was he overrated? Dude is a brawler, has no boring fights. Either looses like a coward, making the winner guy a hero, or wins like an animal with his reckless style. He was the antagonist McGregor tried so hard to be.

He was also cheating using illegal hand wrapping it was very noticeable in the fights after against Pacquiao, Mosley, and Cotto 2. Margarito didn't have the same snap or power in his punches after he got exposed
