Igual sigo pensando que Mayorga era mas capaz, pero su problema del Ego y la falta de disciplina, lo que lo convierte en un payaso,

En su momento odié a Wilfredo Gómez,tal vez pecó de soberbio,por eso,pero con el tiempo lo reconocí como gran boxeador,pero Cotto para mí además es un caballero,la calidad no tiene ni nacionalidad ni tiempo,vivan los buenos boxeadores y Mayorga le ponía sabor a las peleas para venderlas fue todo un promotor tal vez imitando a Ali.

Cotto fought well,stayed calmed and used his superior boxing skills to dominate the fight HOWEVER,he took more punches that I would've liked to see,every time Mayorga went on the offense he landed on Cotto almost at will,despite the adjustments on his stance he still very hittable,he even had him a little wobbly in the 7 rd.This certainly spells doom for Cotto in a possible rematch with Margacheato who is way more aggressive than Mayorga,and connects that dreaded uppercut with higher efficiency.

Cotto is one cool customer. Maximum respect to Miguel for the way he conducts himself in the ring and outside of it. Although he lost fair and square to Manny he fought valiantly and there is no shame in that. There will aways be controversy surrounding the Margarito defeat though as it is likely that he had the dodgy handwraps for that fight also, otherwise I think Cotto would have won a decision. If they fight again I think Cotto prevails. Mayorga is entertaining but ultimately a joke.

Deep down he can't be as confident as he portrays after the recent beatings he has taken. Mayorga has had one knock out in the last 8 years and has been knocked out 3 times. He does have power but he loads up on every punch and they are telegraphed by top fighters. The best punch is the one you don't see coming and good fighters see every punch he throws.
