- In this video I tell my story of my FIRST time ever traveling to see Norwich City play in person.
I've supported Norwich since 2015, and as an American, it has been difficult to make the trip overseas and attend a match. Finally, on March 9, 2024, my dream came true.

I was at Dolphins game ( I have been a Dolphins fan since the 80`s ) and got talking to a Buffalo fan, who had heard my accent. He was Leicester City fan. We talked about the PL and football. Great to see a fellow American in the Fine City. I grew up in Norfolk but live in the States. Am often in Melbourne FL for work and was in Miami at Loews a few weeks ago! Would be good to see another City fan. Thanks for choosing Norwich! Great vid

Loved the video! As a fellow American Canary fan, I really love that your made your trip. I made my own trip in October of 2022 and plan to return later this year. Saw a game against Luton Town at Carrow Road and many of the same city sites. Bravo!

Possibly the best fan video I’ve ever watched!
I was born in Norwich and have been a fan since my first game around the age of 8 or 9. Since then I’ve been working abroad, or away from the city all my career, but managed to get to Carrow Road on and off until I retired and returned to the UK. I’ve now made it a dozen or so times plus the same number of away games and thoroughly enjoy my days back in the city. My daughter is now at the University of East Anglia, so I have a great excuse to get to more home games when I can purchase a ticket.
I totally agree with you that sitting behind the glass window is far from ideal. I’ve done it 3 times now and have to say that most football grounds have their corporate hospitality in a box with outside seating. I’d recommend the club finds a way to slide the glass back for the matches to enjoy the atmosphere.
Anyway, well done with your visit and compliments to what is a great family club for the treatment they and the fans gave you. Best of luck in the future.

I can relate as a lad who was born in Norwich but moved away since I was a baby to Devon, pretty bloody hard to get to games A) when you're 350 miles away B) not justifying membership cost if might not even be able to go. Regardless, I just went to the Plymouth game, first time at carrow road since we lost 3-0 to Leeds in 2018 when I was 15. This video was just perfect, as a Norwich supporting Starbucks employee, the algorithm does magical things (although I follow u everywhere). Hope to see you at carrow road if our paths ever cross mate, keep up the work, what an unbelievable experience the club provided for you. Literally dream stuff mate. My partner has just watched this on her phone across the room and I couldn't help but listen in and then have a quick nose around your channel.
Not bad for a first go, as you say. It did feel like you were an excited tourist telling us every last detail of your trip and barely pausing to take a breath. But having watched a few seconds myself I can now see you have used the old vlogger technique of chopping all the pauses out, so it loses it's natural pace & rhythm. I appreciate you *were* an excited tourist with a lot to say and keen to edit the runtime down to sub-20mins, so it's understandable. A less echoey room/use of a mic/bit of sound dampening with soft furnishings etc would go a long way for future videos, should you wish to do more/invest in the channel a little (mic-wise). I'm sure Jack Reeve would be able to help you there (he may even have some hand-me-down equipment if he's upgraded over the years and hung on to the old tech).

Hi mate. I was born in Norwich and wanted to say I loved your video. Your appreciation of our fine city and football club is wonderful to see. So, that football pitch at Dunstan Hall, I know it well and have played on it many times. It has the big nets behind the goals which makes shooting practice easier as the ball doesn't disappear if you miss! When away teams stay at the hotel they use the pitch occasionally. So glad you enjoyed the city and had a great experience. From a brit to an American, we appreciate you. 🙏 🔰 #OTBC

I remember as a Norwegian 10year old in the mid 90s coming to my first (of two) Norwich game, going down to the touchline/advertising to get some autographs,
and the other kids, picking up on me being a foreigner made sure to take my notebook and pass it down the line to the players to make sure I also got the
autographs, whenever the players came on the other side of the line. I'll never forget how considerate and just nice those kids were towards a random foreigner..

Really excellent video - love your enthusiasm. It reinforces how lucky I am to live in beautiful Norwich and be a fan of the club. My wife and I were in Miami Beach in January and we do love it there. Brilliant art deco architecture and some great places to eat like "Ocean Grill" and the "Betsy". Also loved visiting Wynwood Walls in Miami City.
Miami is an incredible place! I've only lived here for 1 year but loved every second. The places you mentioned are all amazing. As much as I love Miami, Norwich holds a special place in my heart. I can't wait to be back!
Videos like this help remind us that Norwich is a great place to visit and to live. Personally I have a lot of respect for fans from overseas who don't support the obvious clubs like Liverpool, Manchester United. That's too easy in my view (although I know big clubs market themselves abroad). Overseas fans usually have a story to tell as to why they support Norwich or one of the "smaller" clubs.

Great video, so glad you had a lovely time . How things have changed over the decades . My dad took me to Carrow rd in 1970 for my first game , a 3-0 win against Charlton. The stadium has literally changed completely since that day.

Your girlfriend absolutely smashed it booking that trip, enough memories for several lifetimes. I hope you're planning a trip for her right now, she deserves it! Glad you enjoyed our City and that it felt like home, anyone that chooses Norwich is welcome. Pro tip, the coffee at strangers on the lanes near the market is 10/10. The experience you had with the training ground and stadium tour, meeting the staff, manager and players is a reminder that at the core Norwich is a great football club when at other clubs fans are seen as little more than £££.
Shame about the Boro result, we were robbed but you couldn't have picked a better game to visit - I remember when I went to my first game (Chelsea Home 3-1) my Dad told me they don't play that well every week!!
Cannot tell you how jealous I am of your Sargent shirt, great player and hope we get to see him back in the PL with us next season.

I was fortunate enough to experience the Training ground, with my wife’s Grandad before he sadly passed, again all arranged by Dan Houlker and his team. Such a proper community club wanting to engage with its supporters.

What an awesome video! I've been going to first team matches at Carrow Road since 1979 and still remember the excitement of that occasion! Welcome to the 'Carra family' fella! What an awesome experience.
I bumped into Sarge outside the City Stand after the Birmingham match. He was on a golf cart with his foot in a protective boot, although he was chatting to someone he was only too happy to let my lad have a photo taken with him! Top man 🫡🇺🇸!

Stayed at the hotel I worked at for 5 years the amount of away football teams that stayed at that hotel and used that pitch to practice on I remember Bolton wanderes staying there and Manchester United and yes I did use that football pitch a few times with my brother and friends and I did score a few goals 😊
