I ordered one for my rzr 1000s with this and a high quality air filter
Works great- outlasted just about EVERY other part on my CanAm X3, including the motor.
Opened the motor up after 35,000+ miles and it still looked clean and new in there.
When will they be building one for the rs1

So I plan of running mine off a switch , would it be a problem if I run my machine and don’t turn it on ??
I run a full front windscreen on my 2017 Mav X3 RXS, can I do a lower bar install knowing the windscreen is deflecting direct airflow to the particle separator.
I don't see that being an issue.
I’ve had this on my X3 for the last 1200 miles and I haven’t had to replace an air filter. Not a questionable situation, literally pulled out air filter and thought it was new every time.
But... in Michigan only running Silver Lake Dunes and some trails so not hardcore desert environment. ✌️

So it relies on ram air to function? Don’t mount it behind a rear windshield?
As long as you give the vortexes at least a 2" gap between the rear window you will still pull in plenty of air. RAM air is only necessary when racing.

Any plans for the Yamaha RMAX 1000?
Unfortunately S&B only makes these for the Yamaha YXZ and we don't know of any plans to make one for the RMAX.
Do you have these for a 2019 Maverick Sport XRC?
We currently don't sell these for any Can-Am with the 1000R engine. But we'll reach out to S&B and confirm if one is available for your machine or not.

Does this works in a X3 XMR turbo R?
Unfortunately this system does not fit the X MR models.
Hi, I just purchased a honda talon and asked for a snorkel and they installed this. Does this act as a snorkel?
S&B Filters doesn't say these also work as snorkels. But with that said, we have had customers use these as snorkels when sealed up properly.
@@rmatvmc can you please explain what you mean when you say sealed properly? like you are saying this can be installed with no additional modifications and if sealed properly there is no extra tubing needed? Reason why I ask this is that the S&B technical support told me this is in no way marketed as a snorkel and additional modifications are needed if it is to be a snorkel. I am not trying to argue please understand that I just had this installed by dealership when asked for a snorkel and they installed this. I do not believe they did any additional modification other then what was included in the box. Can you specify why this is a snorkel if you feel that it truly is.
This is going to be quite the argument with the dealership demanding them to either explain why they installed this(they said this is their first time putting this on) and tell them to swap it out for a real snorkel. I paid so much for a snorkel to be added lol.
S&B is the authority and knows their product so if they are telling you this does not double as a snorkel, I would listen to them and get something figured out with the dealership that installed it on your machine. Sorry for any confusion!
@@rmatvmc Dealership was honest and admitted their mistake. They will begin process of getting a snorkel for my Honda talon.

@@rmatvmc hey man I really need your help. I just had this installed after I asked for a snorkel system and my girl and I kept arguing over this because I said it is a snorkel and she said it is not. Well she may have won this battle because I talked to the company S&B Filters and the live support chat is telling me this will not work for submerging the vehicle in water. Can you please help me and let me know if that is truly the case? I paid lots of money for this and I need to know if I need this to be changed.

Do these rob horsepower by limiting incoming air?
No, they shouldn't rob any horse power. Most people will mount them on the roof line which actually allows more air to flow into your intake and since this is filtering the air before it reaches your stock air filter, it will help to not lose power from having a dirty filter.
This product does not work. Shameful marketing.
I have used similar products on heavy equipment and helicopters. What is wrong with this one? It looks very similar to the one I used on Bell 407's.
