Does anyone feel this was one of the genuinely funnier episodes in a while or is that just me? All of his content is great.

Not sure why, but I laughed WAY harder at the Chibi Robo zip lash blooper than any of the actual episodes. Probably not as hard as Scott did in that blooper though. Highly recommend checking it out.

@@someguy4853 I honestly think it depends, after having kinda rushed into dating myself I've ended up realizing that maybe I'm not all that interested in it, at least not in the way most people are and I'm honestly just gonna do the things I enjoy and if I bump into someone that works. I'm probably only going to function with a very specific kind of person and I'm not gonna force myself to try to work with someone else and just exhaust myself because I feel lonely. But those kinds of needs change depending on the person, some people just aren't super interested in romantic relationships and get more from other connections while some might have a very strong need for that stuff. Either way the truth of all relationships is that if you force it, it won't really work and if it is something that you struggle with then being slow is perfectly fine and probably the better approach for you anyways.

This is by far one of the strangest episodes Scott has put out yet, and I am all for it. The energy was just chaotic, he seemed rushed, the tangents were random yet hilarious, the lighting is slightly off, and I am surprised that a holiday that I just heard about yesterday from a friend now has a video about it.
(And the background combined with the lighting makes me think this wasn't filmed at New Location McGee, this could be the first video from a new location!)

The amount of blood on the sword does effect the blade in that it’ll rust. That’s why samurai clean the swords even after a kill. Although the rust is mainly an overnight thing and I don’t get why they can’t program it in as eye-candy instead of a whole mechanic other than to make it unique.
After killing many people, or one person in a duel, samurai would (traditionally) perform that action, called “chiburi.” Most katana have a groove that helps to pool the blood so when you shake the sword in that manner, you whip all the blood off of it. In truth, this is more ceremonial than practical, and the groove serves other purposes, specifically to lighten the blade and use less steel (since Japan’s steel was crap). The ceremonial aspect is still preserved, and practiced as part of the more meditative qualities of performing iaido kata.
