Thanks for checking out the video. This upload is a little different than the regular videos. It’s some clips from a CFMOTO Demo Day Ride that Kalinowski Power hosted last weekend. They are one of our local CFMOTO dealerships and every spring they host an event where they invite people from the community out to test ride some of their new machines. It’s a free event and the goal is to give people a chance to experience various machines in real world conditions. The weather was terrible, it was cold and rainy all day but that still didn’t stop a lot of people from coming out and having some fun. It’s a really good concept because if you don’t already have a machine or friends who ride it’s hard to get out an get some actual seat time. They even sold a few units as a result of the test rides. One couple came in to buy an ATV and actually ended up purchasing a side by side after trying out all the machines they had available to ride. They said that if they hadn’t had the chance to try them out on the trails they likely never would have chosen the machine they did. My friend Chris and I brought the Z-Force 950 HO EX with us and we let whoever wanted to take it out for a rip and experience it. I felt it was a good opportunity to put some hard use on the machine and keep testing it’s overall durability since nothing is harder on a machine then throwing someone who doesn’t own it the keys. Just think of how YOU treat a rental vehicle... If it can take a beating like that then it’s a great sign. About 15 various people drove the Z-Force and it went through almost a whole tank of fuel with no issues. A few of the guys rode it pretty damn hard, it almost hurt to watch, knowing I was taking it back home at the end of the day, lol. However, that’s the kind of use a machine like this needs if we are going to come to any real world conclusions on how good it is. I know this isn’t the usual type of riding we do but it’s the type of riding a lot of your “average” and more laid back type of riders enjoy. Remember, the goal of all these CFMOTO test videos is to be realistic with how we test it and be realistic with what we compare it to. Stay tuned because in the near future I’ll be taking it out for a real beat down on our local trails with the rest of the #TeamAJP crew. We will also start modifying it soon. Then we will see how it stacks up against the other machines head to head. I have a ton of projects in the works for this year and as I mentioned in previous uploads, we will be shaking things up with various new types of content and a variety of new machines!! So try to keep an open mind and lets have some fun together! Ride safe out there and see ya in the next video.
Im in the “average” and more laid back type of rider category and eagerly watch how it holds up to the type that you do. I feel like you will find any weak points it has and show what it is capable of.

I’ve had my zforce for 5 years and over 5k on it of very hard riding, I’m in east coast Canada so all mud and rocks and it’s still going strong .

I figure they will remove themselves from the vehicle when the time comes.... LOL! I'll get it out with the crew soon. I know I've been teasing. Our local trails are wayyyyy too wet to ride still but we are hoping that conditions improve over the next 2-3 weeks. This was just a bit of a laid back day, but still a fun time.

hey brother love the videos just wanted to say thanks for all your hard work i had been wanting a side x side for about a year now. you helped greatly with my choice.you Blake and a few of the other guys on here. Im turning 60 this coming sat. been stuck in the house a lot for a while now. i had a stroke about 9 years ago lost use of left hand and the leg isn't great i walk a little with a cane with real bad balance being forced to retire at 50 i get a very small Retirment check so was limited on funds you guys made me feel ok about getting a lower cost unit that would still do every thing i would want 3 weeks ago i found a dealer with a left over 2022 950 sport ho at a good discount i have put100 miles on it and love it so far thanks again keep up the hard work.

Very nice. I would have to change the door set up to a full door or maybe there is an insert available to fill in the gap to cut down on water and mud getting in . I will be looking into some fintrail gear. Staying dry is a bonus especially in the wet conditions . I got soaked a couple weeks ago and the temps dropped below freezing which made a miserable cold ride back and I was on my quad. Looking forward to more videos. 👍.
I already ordered a set of door insert from SuperATV. They got here yesterday. Can’t wait to install them. Not having full doors sucks, especially in sloppy conditions like this. Finntrail is a game changer, you’ll love it. I can’t imagine riding in conditions like this without it. It wouldn’t be any fun at all. Being cold and wet sucks! Glad your enjoying the videos. Honestly I’m sure the cf Moto will do everything all other sxs in its class will do. It’s never going to be the battle wagon. I’m just hoping to see some videos soon of the battle wagon in action. Loved the Hatfield/McCoy series and would love to see more video’s of that nature.
Those long videos take a ton of time so mixing in some of these lighter edits helps me balance things a bit. Next video is a full build video on the #BattlWagon custom roll cage and then the custom wrap. After that I’ll be posting a series of ride video from our Trip to Tennessee in March. It will be exactly what you are after. Hoping to start on those videos next week. Happy to here you loved the WV video series. Making videos like those is what I enjoy most.
Finatical side rider did a video a couple weeks ago of a ride. 24 machines showed up for the ride. out of those 24 machines , 16 of them were cfmotos. thats gotta say something.

Lol, I still have an old 1983 ATC 125M. It’s a ton of fun. My buddy has a bunch of three wheelers and he takes them places you wouldn’t think they can go. It’s all about rider, especially on a 3 wheeler lol.

I’m pretty HARD on it had a few things redone at a welding shop like rear tie rods I’m hoping aftermarket world makes more drive train part just like all buggies have a week points
@@johncooper6470 Looks like the aftermarket is finally starting to wake up in regards to these SXS's. A few shops are starting to make some nice parts for them. I feel in the next year or two there will be way more options popping up!

@@benmayhew373 Hey man. I know MSC has an exhaust developed already. So doe RJWC but the RJWC one is soooooo damn loud and it's also crazy expensive. I've been talking with a few other companies to see what my options are. Stay tuned, may have some info for you guys about that soon.

Looked like fun, but wet lol.
It was just a laid back day, nothin crazy compared to how we usually ride but still a good time. It was wet out and a little chilly but having the right gear keeps you warm and dry inside.
Update:: My engine on the 950 is blown. Crank shaft is grooved, mains are shot and the rods of course are done and yup, the pistons too. 450 miles. Shout out to my dealer Karns power sports mechanicsburg Pennsylvania and cfmoto for helping with the repair. It's getting a brand new engine. The dealer helped more than you know, this is what it's all about.
Any idea why the engine failed so soon? It is good to hear the dealer and CFMoto helped you out.
@@bruceh3786 Yes, there was debris in the engine. Metal shavings and it clogged the crank oil ports and the oil cooler. Runs great now. But..... I'm trading it off for something else. Not saying just yet til it's done.

What is the rest of your team saying about the 950? Just curious. Are they excited or are they skeptical? I hope they give it a chance just like you're doing.
Overall everyone is super excited to see it on our local trails. All the guys want to see how capable it actually is. Some are more skeptical then others but I think in the end we will all draw our conclusions once we see it perform a few times in the real world.

I just want to see how well it holds up in stock form after being used hard in various situations. Maybe a video going over everything to see what broke, bent, loosened etc. Like the bolts in the diffs that everyone is talking about. Sxs outcast has a CZcams video on it I think. 👍🍻🇨🇦
@@benmayhew373 Hey, I did have problems with my ring gear bolts and I still haven't gotten to drive it since all this stuff happened. I finally figured out why it wasn't running (I hope). I still gotta get the clutch fixed which is my latest problem but I'm gonna be optimistic. I'm shooting for memorial day weekend at Hatfield McCoy trails. Bear wallow for sure.
I'd like to see you run the paces that you've done in all your other videos. They seem to be some great trails, and they're in your back yard.
@@sxsoutcast7651 we will be hitting our local trails in it soon. Just waiting for things to dry up a bit more. I plan on running Hogs Back and Hogs Back 2.0 in it. I also want to take it to Greens Mountain and Minden Off-Road Park for a good shake down. Depending how it does there we will be able to judge capabilities and reliability.

So how are you liking the cf moto Julian? I’m starting to see a lot of them down here in WV.
For now I’ll say that I’m not disappointed. I promised myself and all the viewers that I would keep an open mind to this machine and leave any bias at the door. I also promised I’d make realistic comparisons and maintain realistic expectations. With that being said, I don’t want to really jump to any conclusions yet or make any judgements yet because I feel I need quite a bit more seat time before I can form an honest unbiased opinion. Nothing has downright disappointed me yet. So that’s good. There are a few things Im going to be keeping my eyes on closely. There are a few things that borderline surprised me in a positive way. I’m going to hold back on any specific judgement until I can take the machine out for two or three really good hard rides on our local trails with the rest of the machines in the crew. I think the real conclusions will be made when we stack this thing up against the rest of the pack, side by side on the same obstacles, and see how it does in relation to the other machines. I also want to give it some time and let it experience some repeated abuse because we all know just about any machine works well brand new out of the box. Everyone wants to see how this machine works after multiple hard rides and 1000+ trail miles. That will be what defines my true opinions. Hope that answer makes sense. I really do want to give this unit a fair assessment. I want to judge it fair and square based on how it performs. If this series of videos does well I’d like to repeat it with a few other machines on the market. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I thought this would be a great machine to start off with because of how many mixed opinions people have on them and the CFMOTO brand.

Was the transmission grinding on the last video just a linkage adjustment?
According to all the comments it's likely a linkage adjustment issue. I haven't actually adjusted it yet. Hoping to do that in the next few days when I'm in the shop again. I didn't hear it act up on this ride.

I’m seeing a lot of them for sale with 600 miles on em in my area. Northern Michigan. Wondering why…I own a fleet of Polaris, but give credit where it’s due. But don’t think I’d pull the trigger with how fast people wanna get off em.
That’s concerning man. I wonder why. I’m trying to hold back with any judgements for a while. I wanna get a few good rides under my belt before I voice and serious opinions on the machine. I promised myself I’d be open minded about this and that I’d be unbiased so I wanna make sure I give it a good go before I make any statements. I’ve found a few things of concern already that I’ll be keeping an eye on.
A lot of them either didn’t like riding in a sxs, don’t have time or decide they wanted something else like a 4 seater I see it all the time. I have 900-1000 miles on my 800 trail and I’m in between selling it or keeping it and buying a different unit and keeping the 800 trail as a backup but who knows
@@DirtTrailAdventures Ya, lots of reasons to sell. Some people buy machines and then don't have a solid crew to ride with. Some don't do the correct research and buy the wrong machine for their needs. Some get a lemon or have a bad experience. Unlimited reasons at the end of the day. Hoping the videos we do can help people with decisions like this down the line.
I'm in Northern Michigan.....live in northeast L.P. and have cabin and property in the Eastern U.P. I ride both areas heavily and just spearheaded the Inaugural cfmoto U.P. Takeover ride this past Saturday May 6th from Trout Lake to Curtis and back. 110 miles of the wettest muddiest trails the U.P. had to offer up after 2 straight days of rain. All cfmoto machines made it to and from with zero issues. I'm all over Facebook marketplace and Craigslist and have yet to see an abundance of cfmoto machines for sale with 600 miles. Im looking because im trying to start up an ATV rental business and there are very few used cfmoto quads for sale within earshot of where I live. It's completely understandable that some people don't like the brand....I get it. But please don't take your disdain to a level where you are spreading falsehoods. The top selling cfmoto dealership for the past 3 years in the Midwest is located in a small town right here in northeast lower Michigan and has sold more cfmoto machines during that span than both Spicers of Houghton Lake and Exrtreme Powersports of Gaylord have combined sales in both Polaris or Can Am brands. Taking that into accord.....I'm seeing far more Polaris and Can Am ATV's and UTV's for sale here locally than cfmoto machines. Don't mistake what I'm saying here....because I'm not making brand comparisons. I know what these machines are and aren't capable of. Nobody in their right mind is going to compare a $15k machine to a $30k machine. And if you own a $30k machine.....at least be honest and secure enough in what you own to say nothing at all about a brand you know zero about. And before you return with the typical "my friends wife's daughters boyfriends brother had one and it was junk" story....don't bother.....I've heard it all. The bottom line is this. Do you think for one minute the very CZcams channel we are both subscribed to and definitely one of the foremost offroad channels in existence would take on a brand to do content on if said brand wasn't gobbling up huge chunks of market shares? They are doing so not because their machines are better. They are doing so because for many people who couldn't otherwise afford to be in the hobby...can do so affordably in a machine that gets the job done. So if your aim is to ruin that for people....at least do so honestly.
I got my 2021 950 running and just today, it has developed a knocking in the side where the main shaft/clutch plate is located. So with only 450+ miles, I'm done. Im getting rid of it. As Popeye would say, "I've had all I can stand and I can't stand no more."

Did the rental unit do the same pooping out of gear as yours? Did you resolve that?
The rental unit is my machine lol. It didn’t pop out of gear in me but I barely drove it a ton of other people did. Maybe it did but I’m assuming most people were in high gear and it only pops out in low. I’m gonna adjust the shifter linkage next time I’m in the shop later this week.
@@AdrenalineJunkieProd i drove one just around the shop and I agree with the turning like a bus and clutch is very aggressive. Good for racing and wide open I think
@@randalsweeting661 Ya, riding mid-high speed in high gear the clutch feels fine when you ride aggressively. Down low and crawling is where it struggles I feel.

ive been thinjking about a zforc 950 i can get a new left over 2023 new for 10400 dollards out the door tax n all in the midwest or a cfmoto 1000 overland atv for 7600 out the door
Hey Mike, for that money is a lot of machine. You’ll struggle to find anything else new for a similar price. So far my z-force has been working well. If you get it I’d say you HAVE to do clutching and an ECU tune. Spend about $1000ish on that and it turns the machine into a beast in comparison to what it is stock. With those mods the machine becomes very fun to drive and very capable. I haven’t had any issues with mine yet but I need to keep abusing it to see how it holds together in the long run.

Huh? Too repetitive? Too short? Too normal? lol. Keep in mind not every video can be a huge all day trail ride. It takes over 100 hours to edit those long 2+ hour videos. It's unsustainable for me to just do that. From time to time I need something lighter to edit and just have some fun with. There is a lot that goes into running a CZcams channel that most people don't see. Part of that is building, developing and maintaining relationships with dealers, brands and viewers. Many brands and dealerships have shown me support over the years and I need to show them support to. Attending events like this, interacting with viewers at these and other event and just trying to give back where I can goes a long way. It's not just about going out and sending it, wrecking machines and causing carnage. A lot of people think I just go out and ride everyday, the truth is I spend 80-90% of my time behind a computer editing videos and fostering relationships. On top of that I need to maintain my vehicles and still live life. It's a lot to do and I have been doing 90% of it all on my own over the last 10 years. So I'd like you guys to keep that in mind before you bash a video. This comment isn't directed at you specifically but this comes up a lot. Let me be blunt about it, before you bash something, think to yourself... can I do better or have I done better? If you don't have a link to a better and more consistent channel you've made then don't hate. Not every video will appeal to every viewer. Just cause you don't like one show on the Discovery channel doesn't mean you hate the Discovery channel. CZcams is the same. Cut us creators some slack from time to time. It's a hard gig to balance. Anyways, please don't take this comment as an attack, it's more of an explanation with some context.
@@AdrenalineJunkieProd very well said brother I don’t have near the content you have but I’m still learning how to edit videos and engage with others it’s a lot of work and the people that watch these videos just don’t understand how much work it really takes to take 100+ gigs of video and turn it into something enjoyable and visually appealing to as many people as possible.

@@DirtTrailAdventures Thanks man, appreciate it. Ya, I don't expect everyone to understand. Not everyone understands how a heart surgeon does their job or how an engineer builds a bridge. Driving on the bridge once it's done sure is easy though... Since you brought up the 100GB thing, on our recent trip to WV I recorded almost 900GB of footage in 3 days. I have 15 or 16 Hard drives in my office full of content from the various rides we do. Over 75TB of video content from the last few years, lol. Most people can't even wrap their head around how much that is. My editing computer has over $10,000 dollars invested into it and I have well over $15,000 in camera equipment. There is a ton of behind the scenes stuff that is far from glamorous and very expensive.
@@AdrenalineJunkieProd I wish I had a set up like that I’m currently using a MacBook Pro which does very well with rendering my ProRes video and everything from my GoPros and iPhone 14promax. I’ve been working hard to learn and understand all the editing techniques and software but there’s still a lot to learn

Any stigma that might exist, is soley due to butthurt people that spent waaayyy more on polaris and can am, and got less. These machines run great, look great, and cost you far less than the competition.
