The Talking Heads were a great band with a catalog of songs that were part of the soundtrack of the late seventies and eighties. They were a New Wave band that most always had a danceable sound. There is talk of a reunion by the band and I would love to see them if it happens..
I always thought many of theTH tunes reflected Spirit's 1984. That song is much darker but I hear so much of the phrasing and overall vibe. Another one for your list.
