I think he used that word 13 years ago and had apologized. He was fired from the show,didnt have any work for 6 years, and hasnt been able to establish himself since. He had a family and 3 kids, they had suffered too, he was not given any work without auditioning or apologizing , I read somewhere was thrown out of his house for not being able to pay rent, not being able to afford an agent , is that not enough punishment? Not just him but his family suffered too. I think the prosecution needs to stop. If a person has apologized , the least one can do is forgive and move on and not bring it up at every opportunity they get. He was a good actor.

Again why should any man get fired over an argument with another man??? He did not threaten any physical violence. All he did was say "I did not call him a fagit".
I don’t think anyone should be using the f word but in a job like his where he is in the public eye and is supposed to be a role model regardless of age or show it becomes more about the precedent than the controversial act itself. The show would’ve gotten so much hate but keeping him on as it would appear that they supported the bullying and belittlment of a gay cast member regardless of what actually happened. I think if he wasn’t in the public eye or he worked behind the scenes he would not of been fired and the consequence would’ve been more lenient

First this is America we have freedom of speech. Second when people are angry and argue they will use words to hurt others. They may not use profanity but they will use a substitute word.
And yet freedom of speech does not protect you from the consequences of what you say, only from government censorship. He was legally, and rightfully, fired.
So if a white person says the n word or says racist things about black people its also "freedom of Speech " or what?

Nowhere does it say that you can say whatever you like and not face the fitting consequences, you're allowed to say what you want, but you'll be responsible to face the consequences. Which Isaiah did because that is blatant discrimination. And he said it WITHOUT proof that T.R. Knight was gay, he wasn't even out until AFTER all this. This whole fiasco forced him to come out. Which is already hard as is without people like Isaiah pulling these stunts.
