Also, me working my first official flights with Breeze are included since the days kind of ran into each other. So here's a little bit of everything! Any questions about Breeze drop them below :)

    I'm excited to get into the Flight Industry. Also the fact you can also fly on any other Airline for free as a Flight Attendant like Delta and American which is soo dope. And that's with any Airline like Breeze Airways as well.. This is what makes me excited.

    Hey Is it possible for you to explain how one would potentially be a successful flight attendant if their base is away from there home town? Would they have to move to that base area?

    • @dearklove
      @dearklove  Před rokem +2

      It’s preferred if you move to that base but you can commute on JetBlue or Southwest. You may possibly have to get a crashpad if you’re commuting so you can have somewhere to sleep incase you’re not called on reserves. For reserve shifts you have to be in base but you may not always get used.

  • @amielynn2392
    @amielynn2392 Před rokem

    Hi ! Absolutely a big fan of yiur channel 😊. Had a question for you. When working reserved do you still receive $22.50 an hour or is the pay different? Do they pay you anything per hour while on reaerve but not in flight ? Also, If you live fairly close to the airport do you have to stay at the airport during reserve? Thanks for all the questions you answer !!!

    • @dearklove
      @dearklove  Před rokem +1

      Okay so, if you’re talking about siting airport reserve then yes you get paid 3.5 hours at $22.50 (if it’s your first year) for a 6 hour sit - this goes towards your flight hours for the month. Home reserve is a little hard to explain because technically yes you are still getting paid but it’s not per hour because you only get paid for flight hours. So let’s say you sit strictly home reserve for a month, you’ll get paid your monthly guaranteed hours (70 for full time) because your flight hours for the month would be 0. But anything you fly (or airport reserve) goes towards your flight hours for the month. So let’s say you fly 80 hours this month for example then you get paid 80. But if you only fly 10 hours for this month and sit one airport reserve (3.5 hours), it’s not 70 hours, more like 13.5 but you’ll still get paid 70 for the month. Hope that makes sense I’ll try to do a video on it haha.

    • @dearklove
      @dearklove  Před rokem

      If you are assigned airport reserve then yes you have to sit at the airport for 6 hours incase you’re used for a flight.

    • @devilsadvocate7059
      @devilsadvocate7059 Před 6 měsíci

      @@dearkloveis it likely that you would get more than 70hr/mo starting out? And if not, how long would it take?
      At their current starting pay ($25/hr) I would need to work well over 100hr/mo to make a decent living🫤
