I made this as an editing practice and as a tribute for the show, and for the amazing character of Rick Sanchez, the smartest person in the universe, who can't escape from himself.

I cried when I watched this episode so well written an the song fits the theme brilliantly an ppl who say they heard won’t get the same experience as Rick an Morty fans in my opinion
its really sad - he can make a portal to go anywhere in the universe, but he can never escape his crushing loneliness and depression no matter how hard he tries =(
no matter how many miles he puts behind him he can't escape the sad reality I know how he feels
His greatest enemy isn’t a gouvernment or the gromflomites, no his greatest enemy is himself. He is that intelligent that he realized that nothing actually matters and that’s what depresses him…and the saddest part is that his suffer by intelligence is the only reason, he is alive. It’s basically a blessing but a very hard payed one.
the new season really shows how pathetic rick really is and how childish and ignorant the people who "get" rick really are. he is NOT to be idolized
It's good to understand his pain but rick is not a good man.

My ex is the reason I’m a fan of this show and also this song. He played it one day when we were in his dads camper getting high. He committed suicide in 2017. This was his favorite show and I think he related to Rick so much even tho he’s just an animated character. When I watch this scene and I see the pain in ricks eyes and how defeated and exhausted he looks and it made me think of my ex and helped me to understand why he did what he did. I know it’s just an animated series but these characters and story lines are profound.
