I agree with Rebekah's idea that the jury is going to vote with more emotions and personal experience than in other new era seasons, giving Ben and Kenzie a better chance to win over the others.
The edit is definitely leaning into the strategic content route for Charlie and the more personal content route for Kenzie. I think we will get the showdown we want between Charlie and Kenzie, and it will very possibly end in a tie. I mean their edits are so even. Almost like a double winners edit. Despite Kenzie having more personal content I still feel much more invested in Charlie. Idk I guess I just like him better, but my gut is telling me Kenzie is going to win. Especially with the Ben and Kenzie content.

If Kenzie and Charlie are at FTC and tie that’ll be wild, be the first since Dom and Wendell did in ghost island.
The 1st 4 episodes were god awful and drag this below 43 and 45 for me.
@@Boberman286 43 is close for me and could be on top if I don’t like the winner of this season. However 45 for me has the opposite problem of 46. It starts off great but has a boring post merge. I’d rather have a slow burn season that starts bad and ends good than starting good and getting boring. That’s why 46 is topping it for me so far
i have the same feeling, ben final member of the jury and cast the tie breaker vote for kenzie over his tribemate, i can alrdeady hear him saying this decision does not rock
Maybe the Kenzie Ben relationship is building up to Ben or Kenzie winning final immunity and taking the other to the end with them.
Also, I know you like those crazy theories Wesley so here we go. Every winner from 41-45 is kneeling in the cast photo, with the exception of Gabler, and that's because noone is kneeling. Of the final 5, Kenzie is the only person kneeeling. I'm shocked we've all overlooked this.

Finale Prediction:
Charlie wins f5 immunity. Maria gets voted out.
Charlie wins f4 immunity, puts Kenzie and Liz in fire. Kenzie beats Liz.
Charlie and Kenzie each get 4 votes. Ben ends up voting for Kenzie, and that’s why the secret scene between him and Maria was cut, because at the end of the scene Charlie is the one to go and comfort Ben.
What happened in this secret scene?
@@therubberman1997 Maria went really hard at Ben because she was convinced he had the Siga idol. She wouldn’t let up, and afterwards he was sitting alone and crying because the situation reminded him of times where he thought he’d made real friends only for them to drop him. Then Charlie shows up and sits with him (and maybe hugs him?) and just lets Ben cry it out.

However what is left in the episodes is kenzie consoling ben multiple times it will justify why ben will vote for kenzie since it is what edit shows ++ for winner edit 😊
It's an interesting idea, but tbh idt that's the reason that scene between Maria and Ben got cut, I think they cut it out of the show because Maria and Ben go on to work together during the Hunter blindside the next episode and if they don't have footage of Maria and Ben making up over that misunderstanding before the Hunter blindside leaving that scene in would confuse people and make them wonder why Maria's going from questioning Ben's integrity to working alongside him
1. Charlie/Kenzie (I’ve been 50/50 on them for weeks and neither has pulled ahead for me. I just listed them alphabetically here.)
3. Liz (She’s been shown making moves. The only person she seemed to piss off was Q.)
4. Maria (Her communication style and attitude are unlikely to win her many jury votes, but I think she’d be coherent enough to argue her case.)
5. Ben (Not coherent enough to even bluff that he was involved in strategizing/playing the game.)
I legit have Liz at number 3; her edit isn't too unusual for an underedited female winner whose story starts at the merge a la Erika, and she's been integral in more votes than even Kenzie. She's been the swing vote at least as much as Charlie/Maria. Go Team Liz!! ((Probably) not sponsored)
If you go all the way back and look at the Tevin vote Liz is initially planning that move with the 3 Sigas, that makes it feel like she's more in the loop with them than we realize

Do the producers have a plan for if there is a Kenzie/Charlie tiebreaker and Ben has to cast the final vote but has a nervous breakdown and either can’t remember who to vote for or is unable to vote?
Couple of days too late, but I think theory of Charlie v Kenzie having a tie in FTC and Ben deciding on Kenzie as winner, would bring this season to 5/5. Epic ending. One can dream :)

I know there’s some confusion on whether two idols are hidden at once, so here’s my take on it:
We know when an idol is played at tribal council or when a player is voted out with it, it gets rehidden. But if another idol is played at the next tribal and the rehidden idol played the tribal council before isn’t found, then they don’t rehide that second idol because there’s already one out there. So that means when Hunter was voted out his idol was rehidden, but it wasn’t found the next episode when Tiffany was voted out. Thus when Tiffany went out with her idol in her pocket, instead of rehiding a second idol they just let everyone keep looking for Hunter’s rehidden idol, which Venus found and got voted out with, rehid that one and Q found it and got voted out with it.
I don’t understand how Liz can eat Chinese food. There is so many ingredients in it.

As someone who is Gluten (and Dairy) Free, there are different forms of it, so to speak. For myself, if the ingredients say 'May Contain' either wheat or milk, I can risk having it. But there are other people, if they even smell wheat/flour, they would have an immediate reaction to it
I think they needed to make Maria look like a winner. It would have added suspense to this last vote, and have it wide open to see who will win.

With every tribal Maria survives I just see Charlie’s chances of winning continue to plummet. I don’t blame him for not being able to get her out since she’s been safe the last 2 weeks, but is it really a move to add to your resume to get out Maria next when I’m pretty sure everyone is going for her anyway. I still think Kenzie is taking this, but if Charlie has a chance of winning he needs to take Maria out at fire instead because Maria out at 5 is going to benefit everyone equally the same.
18:36 I'm begining to understnd what Wesley is saying about a lack of emotional connection to Maria. In the scenes about her gettting upset over the reward challenge, the edit made it feel like she was being kind of whiney, rather than trying to make us feel bad for her. 🤔

He is sitting on a hill playing drums in a very cinematic shot that they only do for the final 3. Maria's was similar too in retrospect, but Ben is for sure.

I have Celiac & I normally can’t eat anything Chinese. Only if it’s rice noodles. Also i can’t eat licorice as it has gluten in it. Even a tiny bit of gluten causes me so much pain. I have to be very careful
Maybe the Ben and Kenzie situation is shown cause when they brought it up at tribal it could have influenced the Jury and got her more votes at final tribal? Im kind of grasping at straws with this one but i thought id share it.

Yeah Reba 4 dominated, but the only meh votes where they controlled were the Kendra vote and arguably the Bruce vote, but even that had one had entertainment.
90 mins seemed to drag less on 45 than 46 to me, and I was convinced of an Emily win for a while

i havent liked ben really at all during this season but now i realize how few confessionals he has had and screen time in general which is probably a contributing factor.
I just noticed that in the new era each winner is sitting on the ground in the group promo shot (exept for gabler beacuse they were all standing)
bhanu saying Kenzie is a mermaid dragon had sealed win for me, that's mostly why he has so many confessionals
There is a lot of gluten in Chinese food usually. However, there are a lot of gluten free options you can substitute. For example, they make a lot of gluten free sauces like Tamari for soy sauce. She could have rice noodles. I’ve used cornstarch and gluten free panko to coat things when cooking gluten free. Totally possible.

Y’all with all these idols getting not played, they gotta make ghost island part 2: Survivor 46 edition
i grew up with a person who was allergic to everything like Liz. a LOT of them are made up in their heads as a byproduct of anxiety and i think Liz is somewhat aware of that as she hinted to the "root cause" of her allergies being emotional regulation issues aka not real allergies. the noodles she was eating were NOT the gluten free type which would have to be rice noodles. she was eating straight up lo mein noodles which are wheat based.
I feel like there should be an asterisk beside the week Maria got 0 confessionals, as that was the week Bhanu got 13. Her tribe didn’t go to tribal that week, and she didn’t got on the journey. It makes sense that she wouldn’t get any that week.
i think Kenzie wins, i’ll be happy with either he or Charlie, because one of them are 100% winning this game unless Maria doesn’t lose immunity ever lol

I love that Maria is the bug threat /"villain" of the season, the "game savy cold mom" archetype is something I love watching, as much as I do realise she has no chance of winning, id love if she did

Pushing one contestant over another is not reliable given the content we are shown. Sometimes we are "guided" to root for certain person to win to only have the rug pulled out from under our feet. We, as an audience, NEED to have a balance of "worthy" and "unworthy" winners to keep the conversation going. A win is a regardless of what we are presented through the show. Reality is anything but.

14:20 prediction: If Charlie makes it to final 4 it means Maria went out at 5 because it seems like those are the only two being targeted at this point. This would mean Charlie is the odds on favorite to win the final 4 immunity challenge (unless like, Liz pulls a Romeo), and I really don’t see Charlie putting himself in fire.
When looking at your cast photos of the new era seasons....I can barely remember who the final 3 were or who won....that tells me how forgettable those seasons were.
I still stand by that when someone tries to Natalie Bolton you and you don't do what they want, that isnt a reason to poison the jury against her (which one of the failed Natalie Boltons straight up said she'd do, with the other failed Natalie Bolton just saying he wont vote for her).

FTC can completely flip my opinion on a season or winner for me. It could make or break a player’s game. No matter how well their game appeared up until then.
Finale: Outcast twist, Bhanu comes back, gets 60 confessionals, votes out Charlie and Kenzie, then wins unanimously
Liz is gonna sell an idol that lets you know when you need to play it, Hunter, Tiff, Venus and Q vote for her and she wins 4-3-1
You guys gotta watch "The Goat", Wendell is a contestant. Not as good as survivor but it's fun and interesting to see how people from other types of reality shows compete in an elimination show. The contestants all have good personalities, Tosh is funny as a host. It's a fun time

Maybe in the future could you not put the remaining contestants from the episode in the thumbnail and maybe just put the contestants who were in the episode before the vote? Only reason is because I wasn't able to watch the episode the last two nights and accidentally saw the thumbnail on CZcams and immediately saw that Q wasn't there. It made me kinda sad that it spoiled the episode, in the future could you include all of the contestants?
I have considered this, but it has been 2 days since the episode and this is a Survivor channel so I ultimately decided against it.

he needed to not use codys idol so that karla would be safe at final 5 so that he could take out cassidy
cassisy was never going to win, but by taking out cassidy he guarantees that gabler cant win and it increases the odds of jesse winning final immunity, and even if he doesnt he will be in fire against karla who was injured and probably wouldnt win
i wonder if its a coincidence that in 43 and 44 the fire making record was broken both times or if it was due to the weather during the time of filming
Kenzie made a point the show highlighted, that she would help someone like Ben, whether they were allied/buds/etc. They leads to Ben voting Charlie over her, where Charlie's edited ability of reading people the right way at the right time pays off, whether Ben is on the jury or casts the deciding vote for Charlier over Kenzie. She's a good person, Charlie is the winner of 46.
Or not. Survivor is always a 50/50 show...is it this, or that? This finale, it is not Liz, Ben or Maria winning. Could be Kenzie, but Charlie has made more sense to me since the merge. This last episode could have been how Kenzie is playing Maria and she made her big move, that she says she needs, to remove Q and fool her. Instead, it was Charlie's ability to sway Kenzie and Liz and Ben to his side that the editing made stand out. We saw every vote because we should be worried that maybe Charlie got it wrong and Q plays an idol...but no, Charlie got it right. We'll see.
I hope this is the first and last time we see a contestant with so many food allergies. It obviously does not work to have someone that can't eat island fruits 🤦🏼♀️ it's just been an annoyance all season.

I like 41, more or less. You had some real power struggles, which I appreciate a lot more after watching more recent alliances walk right past everyone. And while the right wingers' outrage was tiresome, it's not the show's fault. They shouldn't be tiptoeing around a toxic demographic's delicate sensibilities.
