About Sam Ryder
In 2020, as the world went into lockdown, Sam Ryder uploaded the first of his now infamous covers that quickly caught the attention of some famous fans (think Elton John) with compilations appearing on The Ellen Show & BBC's Newsbeat. As the content kept coming, so did the fans, amassing 10 million on socials by the end of the year. Fast forward to 2021 and Sam was crowned as TikTok's most popular UK artist account for the second year in a row.
In 2021, Sam released his 5-song EP 'The Sun's Gonna Rise' including track 'Whirlwind' that describes Sam’s journey - spending much of his adult life writing and performing in bands, living in Hawaii and owning a vegan coffee shop; before he decided to pursue his dream of becoming a solo artist.
Sam's first show in London sold out in under 10 minutes, nearly as quickly as his first full UK tour. Ready to make his first live foray into Europe and beyond, world domination in 2022 might not be a stretch too far for this incredible talent.

They all live in province Kwa-Zulu Natal.
I live in the next privince Free State.
I do my best to see all of them as much as I can.
My oldest sister had cancer but is now in remission 6y.
This song reminds me most of her. I just want more time with her. She is so special to all of us.
Going to visit in May. Flights are expensive here, but I don't mind spending my money to visit my 4 life long best friends, my sisters.
I want MORE time with them and I've decided it is my priority.
